Ruby Whitehorn (SG. Detroit Edison)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #1
Whitehorn is as athletic as they come, but don’t let that distract you. She’s also one of the headiest and smartest players on the floor. We’ll be watching her on tv in the years to come.
Mya Petticord (PG, Arbor Prep)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #2
Petticord reminds me of Scooby Johnson on the boy’s side. She came into high school as a star already, just like Scooby did a few years ago. And also like Scooby, she’s living up to the hype.
Theryn Hallock (CG, Forest Hills Central)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #3
Hallock is already committed to Michigan State. Spartan fans will love this diverse perimeter star.
Abbey Kimball (CG,West Catholic)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #4
Kimball is yet another talented guard on the west side of the state. She can simply do it all on the perimeter.
Madisen Wardell (PF, Detroit Edison)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #5
Wardell is a fast rising prospect. She’s one of the most talented post prospects in the state. And in a state this talented, that means D1 potential.
Rakiyah Beal (SF, Detroit Edison)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #6
Beal is super athletic on the wing. She can just run faster and jump higher than most. She’s excellent in the open floor.
Alecsis Smith (PF, Bay City Central)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #7
Smith is a good old fashioned powerhouse. She’s like Dennis Rodman on the glass. Smith isn’t just a double-double threat every night, she’s a triple-double threat.
Jaci Tubergon (SG, Hudsonville)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #8
Tubergon is very versatile. She can play anywhere on the court with an outside-in or inside-out approach. Tubergon can guard multiple positions.
Sydney Pnacek (SG, Dexter)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #9
Pnacek is a shooter at heart that has range beyond the arc. She’s an athlete off the ball that college coaches will need to have on speed dial.
Jordan Wright (PG, Wayne Memorial)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #10
Don’t ever doubt a Wayne Memorial point guard. Especially a young one with the talent that Wright has. She’s quick and heady on the floor, boasting loads of potential.
