<span style="font-weight: 400;">The opening round of the Kansas 6A state championships opened on Wednesday with quarterfinal play at Wichita State University in Wichita.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Olathe East beats Wichita-Heights, 49-48.; Topeka over Olathe North, 79-55; Liberal over Olathe South, 41-33; and Derby beats SM Northwest, 44-39.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Kansas High School Activities Association announced on Thursday the remaining state tournament games will not be played.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Here, Prep Girls Hoops takes a look at several senior sleepers.</span>
<b>Ashton Conley, 5’8, G/F, 2020, Heights</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">A quick player who makes an impact as a defender. She has a long frame and can catch opponents by surprise and tip away passes and blocks shots. Conley had six rebounds during the game, five of which coming on the defensive boards.</span>
<b>Dayjsha Fanning, G 2020, Heights</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Another guard for Heights who can make plays in transition and score and half court settings. She gets up the floor and can connect from three-point range and the free-throw line as well. Fanning had 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal for the game while shooting 50 percent from the floor, three-point range and free throw line. </span>
<b>Ariyana Grassity, 5’4, G, 2020, Topeka</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">A guard who runs the floor well and plays strong defense on the perimeter. She hustles a lot and plays unselfish ball and looks to push the tempo and key plays alive. She’s aggressive and competitive and works well and has good leadership and vision. </span>
<b>Avery Halliday, 5’7, G, 2020, Olathe South</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">A seasoned senior guard who is mobile and runs the floor well. She’s a solid defensive player in their second half zone and also sees time in man-to-man. She has a good understanding of her role and makes good extra passes and plays hard and does her part well. </span>
<b>Courtney Kearny, 5’10, F, 2020, Olathe East</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Another forward who works well with teammate </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="121725" first="Molly" last="Kaemmer"]</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> inside. Kearny is good at setting screens in a rolling to the basket and can play physical and come away with the ball and make tough rebounds. She ended the game with five points, three rebounds and one assist.</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="90150" first="Heather" last="Mills"], 5’5, G, 2020, Derby</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">An intelligent player who can get up the floor and makes great decisions on offense. She can connect from three-point range and around the glass and knows how to get her shot off quickly before contact. Mills ended the game with eight points and one rebound shooting a perfect game from the field and three-point range hitting all four of her shots. Mills was 50 percent from the free-throw line as well.</span>
<b>Mandy Truit, 5’11, F, 2020, Olathe South</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">A nice seasoned forward who plays inside and looks for easy baskets around the glass. She understands what is needed and she doesn’t look to make plays outside her comfort zone. Truit finished the game with four points, seven rebounds and one steal. She was a strong offensive rebounder for the team but also contributed well on defense. </span>
