Without question the Small Forward or Wing position is one that requires a versatile skill set. The expectation of being able to play around the perimeter and on the interior is not always easy to live up to for many players. The ability to defend both guards and post can usually set prospects apart and increase their value in the eyes of college coaches that desire to play a position-less style of basketball. [player_tooltip player_id="118038" first="Sallie" last="Schultz"] takes the top spot at this position and is number 9 overall in the class with [player_tooltip player_id="118042" first="Savannah" last="Samuel"] coming in right behind her at number 10. The top three at the position, including [player_tooltip player_id="118046" first="Sophia" last="Singer"], are all 6’0" or taller. Their combination of length and athleticism is what makes them a great fit for the position. [player_tooltip player_id="118049" first="Keely" last="Brown"] moved up a couple of spots in our rankings, rightfully so, because of her consistent impact on the floor. She scored at every level and always contributed to rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id="156778" first="Chatham" last="Brown"] was great at doing whatever was required to win games. Her strong build allowed her to play physical with anyone on the floor. She is a very good defender that easily keeps guards out of the paint. [player_tooltip player_id="156795" first="Kennedy" last="Collins"] was a bright spot for her Tucker squad this year. She has that competitive edge and does not back down, no matter who is on the court. [player_tooltip player_id="118079" first="Joi" last="Reed"] ended her senior year with a State Championship and played a major role in that. She showed a good skill set but relied on a great motor to make big plays on both ends of the floor. Her energy seemed to be infectious for her team.
