[player_tooltip player_id='1245631' first='Kennedy' last='Jones'], played far bigger than her size and proved to be the emotional heartbeat of her team. Despite possibly being the smallest player on the floor, she competed with tremendous toughness and confidence. Jones defended aggressively on the ball and in passing lanes, communicated constantly with teammates, and embraced a vocal leadership role. One play that comes to mind- a pass went inside to the big and the big didn't recognize that Jones was wide open for the three. Jones called for the ball and hit nothing but the bottom of the nets. She showed confidence shooting the three, driving to the rim, and defending on the ball. Jones brought an edge and intensity that impacted her entire team- the definition of a leader.

She knocked down perimeter shots confidently, attacked into the paint for pull-up mid-range jumpers, and later showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. Stroachein consistently moved well without the ball, understood spacing in transition, and made herself available as a scoring option. Her feel for the game and polished offensive skill set stood out. The young guard may plays all over the floor and played in sync with her teammates.
