Continue ReadingTexas is huge, talent is everywhere and historically there have been over a hundred D1 players or close to it for a vast number of years since I started putting players out there, this is verifiable if you have a second-grade knowledge of using the internet so do not get this misconception that there are always players out there that can go in small towns or play at private schools, look at new additions McKinna Brackens McKinna Brackens 5'10" | SF Fairfield | 2023 State TX (Fairfield) and Jamie Reude Jamie Reude 5'6" | PG Boerne | 2023 State TX (Boerne), both play in UIL 4A and they are legit, same with Ese Ogbevire Ese Ogbevire 5'7" | PG Fulshear | 2023 State TX (Fulshear) and it gets even better when I drop to Payton Hull Payton Hull 5'4" | SG Peaster | 2023 State TX (Peaster) UIL 3A and these are legitimate next level college players so sometimes you need to step out of your box and listen, that doesn’t apply to me but these young ladies elevated their status
Loghan Johnson Loghan Johnson 5'8" | CG Tompkins | 2023 State TX (Tompkins)
Current Rank #11 up from #13
Johnson has had muscle yet that didn’t change her agility and when I say she’s hard to handle from the wing and in the open court, you better believe it. The pull-up jumper from midrange just keeps getting better yet her instincts and reactions are what attracted me years ago, they’ve gotten better and of course, she plays the passing lane
Mia Galbraith Mia Galbraith 5'10" | SG Lake Travis | 2023 State TX (Lake Travis)
Current Rank #12 up from #23
Galbraith put on a show at She’s Ballin against next players older than her, remember before you whine about anything, “it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against” and she continues to overly impress me with her talent and skillset not to mention her knowledge of the game but more important is that she plays within herself and also showed she can light it up in the flow
Taylor Haggan Taylor Haggan 5'11" | PF John Paul II | 2023 State TX (Plano East)
Current Rank #25 up from #26
Haggan is showing beastlike moments every time I see her play and her upside is scary but her performance at She’s Ballin solidified what I saw earlier at Pass Tha Ball’s The South
Kylie Marshall Kylie Marshall 5'9" | CG Mansfield Lake Ridge | 2023 State TX (Lakeridge)
Current Rank #26 up from #27
Marshall’s upside and explosiveness is scary, she is showing signs of being able to take over games with ease
Flyin Adeleye Flyin Adeleye 6'0" | PF Tompkins | 2023 State TX (Tompkins)
Current Rank #27 from #28
Adelye just controls the paint almost effortlessly and this has always come naturally for her. Her strength and power are only going to create more problems
Payton Hull Payton Hull 5'4" | SG Peaster | 2023 State TX (Peaster)
Current Rank #44 up from #52
Hull’s ability to not only create her shot but hit it consistently from kid to long-range was on full display over the summer and that hasn’t stopped in high school
Shalayne Morgan Shalayne Morgan 5'9" | CG North Shore | 2023 State TX (North Shore)
Current Rank #45 up from #51
Gould became the straw that stirred the drink after moving up from JV after a players injury yet she flew into action attacking from every angle imaginable putting up numbers along the way
