Faith Pappas Faith Pappas 5'11" | SG Pope John | 2022 State NJ | Pope John
Pappas will be the leader of Pope John’s offense next season. She only played half a season as a sophomore which means she will be even better as a junior. Pappas showed her elite ability to shoot from deep during her 16 games. She averaged 15 points per contest and knocked down 38 three’s. Come next season, she will be ready to put in a full season of work.
Tiffany Fischer Tiffany Fischer 5'7" | SG South River | 2022 State NJ | South River
Fischer is already an impact performer for South River but she is ready to become a star. South River is losing Ashley Fischer and Lauren Schmidt so Fischer will have to step up even more. She averaged 14.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and just over three steals per game in her second season. She was a stat sheet filler who was all over the floor. Fischer will emerge as a top guard in the state next season.
Megan Cahalan | St. John Vianney
Cahalan played for one of the top teams in the state last season in St. John Vianney. They are obviously a guard heavy team led by Madison St. Rose Madison St. Rose 5'10" | PG St. John Vianney | 2022 State #65 Nation NJ , but Cahalan gave them some production from the post. She is a versatile forward that can score down low to step out and knock down a jump shot. Cahalan can turn into an impact player for the Lancers next season.
Sophia Davis | Blair
Olivia Miles Olivia Miles 5'11" | PG Blair Academy | 2021 State #2 Nation NJ , Dom Darius Dom Darius 5'9" | CG Blair | 2021 State #25 Nation NJ , Tabitha Amanze Tabitha Amanze 6'4" | PF Blair | 2022 State NJ . The list goes on-and-on for Blair. Davis is the next wave of star. She has a smooth jump shot from the outside and can be a handful on the defensive end. Davis is in one of the top programs in the state and she can grow as a player well with Blair. It would not be surprising to see Davis lead the team in scoring in some games next season.
Savannah Ring | Ramapo
Ring was an effective rebounder from the guard position as a sophomore. She averaged just under 10 points per game but knocked down 21 three’s. She was a threat when on the floor. Opposing defenses had to know where she was at all times. Ring will take on a bigger role in Ramapo’s offense next season which is a good sign for the team.
