These ladies turned up the heat and made a splash for their respective teams. As we turn the corner to the May live period, you can fully expect the following hoopers to have all eyes on them.
Allie Shenloogian Allie Shenloogian 5'7" | CG Park Ridge | 2025 State NJ | United NJ
An uptempo player with a competitive edge, Allie thrives in fast-paced play and quick-hitting transition. She is an ultra-reliable shooter from the mid-range and has an efficient shot that extends out to 3. She moves well without the ball and gets to her spots quickly to get herself set up for scoring opportunities. Her confidence on the dribble-drive shines through in blinding fashion as she dashes through the defense and tallies points at the rim.
Reese Downey Reese Downey 5'7" | PG Absegami | 2025 State NJ | NJ Soldiers
A prolific 3-point shooter, Reese gives the Soldiers instant offense. Her 3’s come fast and furious, often deflating defenders who can’t successfully close-out or contain her. Her long, lanky arms make a big difference on defense as she’s able to crowd the passing lanes and force turnovers. On fast breaks, she’s as good as gone, so good luck catching her!
Paradise Fisher Paradise Fisher 5'6" | PG University | 2025 State NJ | Team Sharp
A quick, shifty guard with efficient multi-level scoring! Paradise is a fireball of energy the way she competes and give 100% every single time. She is impressive off the bounce and shows off a crafty layup package at the rim, from Euros, to reverse layups, to underhand scoops. She sees the floor exceptionally well and fires off laser-sharp passes to cutting and lurking teammates.
Trista Whitney Trista Whitney 5'11" | CG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2026 State NJ | Team Sharp
Trista demonstrates poise and patience with the ball in her hands. She makes scoring look effortless even while being hounded and harassed by ball pressure. At a solid 5’11”, she commands the floor and sprints out ahead of the pack in transition, where she loves to show off an impressive one-handed scoop layup going right. Playing big guard basketball, she is efficient in the paint, rebounds well and dominates smaller guards off the bounce.
At just around 6’0″ tall, Lissy has great size and superior reach to be a difference-maker on both sides of the ball. She’s very mobile and shows it the way runs the floor, getting way out ahead of everyone else. She does a great job of leading with her body on drives and earning trips to the charity stripe. Her handles and long strides make it tough for players to keep up with her in transition and establish legal guarding position. Defensively, she fills in space and makes life difficult for the ball-handler trying to create scoring opportunities.
Georgia Sode Georgia Sode 6'0" | C Brearley | 2027 State NJ | NJ Vols
Georgia brings the fire and plays with so much toughness! She’s an interior force who does a terrific job pulling down rebounds on both ends. Her versatility on defense don’t go unnoticed as she protects the paint, but also stretches out and defends up at the perimeter too. On offense, she remains active around the rim and works hard to put points on the board for her team.
With a high basketball IQ, Aleena just gets it! She runs the point with so much confidence and knows when to attack and when it’s best to pull it back out and reset. Her vision is exceptional, and she puts her pass-first PG skills on full display the way she delivers dimes all around the court. If the lane is open, you better believe she’s going into full attack mode and look to score! Her effort on defense is just as impressive, with suffocating ball pressure and lateral quickness.
Aleah Sunkins Aleah Sunkins 6'0" | SF Franklin | 2027 State NJ | Jersey Gemz
A total gym rat with a loaded skillset, Aleah is rated as the best freshman in NJ for a reason! Her size and versatility allow her to play the 2-4 efficiently. She is a total playmaker, whether it’s banging in shots at all 3 levels or dishing it out and setting others up for buckets. She’s supremely athletic and seems to always be one step ahead of everyone else. You can catch Aleah running through opponents at an EYBL stop near you all summer long!
