Zoe Brooks Zoe Brooks 5'8" | CG St. John Vianney | 2023 State NJ | Trenton Catholic
Brooks is the top-ranked New Jersey player in the Class of 2023. She is a true do-it-all point guard. Brooks uses her athleticism to beat her defenders on a regular basis. She averaged over 10 points per game in year one and excelled as a passer and defender. She grabbed over four steals per contest. Brooks is already a high-level prospect and she is not the only one on her team.
Aaylah Del Rosario | Trenton Catholic
Del Rosario is the inside threat to compliment Brooks. And that is putting it lightly. She averaged 11.6 points and 11.6 rebounds in her first season. Del Rosario stands at 6’5 and has skills beyond her years. She is an agile big with great feet and strong hands. Del Rosario is a dominant rebounder on both ends and has a soft touch to finish around the rim. Her speed might be her best attribute. She runs well in the open floor and can fill the lane on a break. Trenton Catholic is set for the near future with their two young stars.
Alexis Davis Alexis Davis 6'0" | SF Woodbury | 2023 State NJ | Glassboro
18 points and 17 rebounds in her high school debut. Davis showed what she was real quick. She averaged 21.2 points and 11.9 rebounds per game in year one. Those are eye-popping numbers and her game logs are even more incredible. They include 25 points and 17 rebounds against Oakcrest and 23 points and 20 rebounds in the very next game against Pennsville. She was a dominant scorer in the lane and got to the free throw line with great efficiency. Davis has a chance to do great things and reach rare milestones.
Hannah Hidalgo Hannah Hidalgo 5'7" | PG Paul VI | 2023 State NJ | Paul VI
Hidalgo is a duel-threat guard. She averaged over five steals per contest and led Paul VI in scoring. Hidalgo is nationally ranked by ESPN and it is not surprising. She knocked down 29 three’s this season. She is a capable shooter but her speed stands out above all else. Hidalgo is quick with or without the ball. Her agility is impressive and she shows it on both ends.
Brynn McCurry Brynn McCurry 6'1" | PF Sparta | 2023 State NJ | Sparta
McCurry rounds out the first team. She is a dominant presence down low. At 6’1, McCurry is a double-double threat every time she steps on the floor. This was evident right away as she notched a double-double in four of her first five career games. McCurry can finish on the offensive end with contact then go block a shot on defense. She is a rim protector with strong anticipation.
