Head coach Mike Willis has put together a formidable squad featuring some big time talent for the 2020 EYBL circuit. Let's take a look at the core of the group. [player_tooltip player_id="136402" first="Saylor" last="Poffenbarger"], 2021, 6'2, Wing/Guard, Middletown Versatile talent who is creative and a threat to score at all three levels, capable of playing all five positions and quite effective in transition. She has legit size and is highly skilled. Dangerous shooter from anywhere on the court. Great rebounder and defends with strength and passion. She is a USA Basketball selection and a UConn recruit. [player_tooltip player_id="25461" first="Kiki" last="Rice"], 2022, 5'11" Point Guard, Sidwell Friends Ms. Rice is a unique talent and leader. She is blessed with a high IQ and excellent skills on both sides of the ball. Kiki is a two sport standout and the DC Gatorade high school basketball player of the year. She was named to the first team All Met team by the Washington Post and was selected for USA Basketball. She has a very high ceiling. Great footwork in the paint and legit scorer from the elbow and the three point line. She is a tough shot blocker and can defend one on one on the perimeter and in transition. Another first team All Met selection. [player_tooltip player_id="137224" first="Anani" last="Humphrey"], 2021, 5’10” Wing / Forward, Saint Frances Academy Athletic player who can play inside or out, but is a natural wing. Great rebounder, really crashes the boards, especially on the the offensive end. Solid on ball defender that uses her athleticism well to disrupt. Plays with passion and tenacity while bringing a toughness to the competition. She came up with her best game of the season for the championship game as she helped St. Frances get over the hump in a tough win. Isabella Perkins, 2021, 5’9” Combo Guard, Paul VI Isabella is a dynamic guard who is a tenacious defender and an offensive threat at all three levels. She's a natural scoring guard, but can also play the point reliably. She is a high level competitor with a non stop motor. She was named first team All State VISAA. She is definitely one to keep an eye on. . [player_tooltip player_id="21920" first="Adrianna" last="Smith"], 2021, 5’11 Wing/ Forward Bishop O’Connell This is a multi dimensional player who is strong on the boards and presents match up challenges for opposing teams. She is capable of scoring in the paint and on the perimeter. She earned second team All WCAC and first team All State VISAA.
