The 2022 class just had it’s end of season update and in a with a heavy guard and wing class, the post player will be the hottest ticket in town. These players still have a couple of years to hone their skills and there is definitely the potential for all of them to be major impact players by the 2022 graduation.

[player_tooltip player_id="27873" first="Nekhu" last="Mitchell"] - 5’11" - McDonogh #9
[caption id="attachment_100151" align="alignnone" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="27873" first="Nekhu" last="Mitchell"][/caption]Nekhu has the versatility to transition back and fourth from post to wing. She deserves a post look based on her ability to rebound especially on the offensive end as well as playing with her back to the basket in the mid and high post. Look for her stock to explode once play resumes.
[player_tooltip player_id="88781" first="Simone" last="Foreman"] - 5’9" - St. Andrew’s #20
Simone has the strength to battle with anyone down low. She has a variety of moves and is a really good finisher.

Jaida is the highest ranked "true post" in the class. She lives in the position and while playing on one of the nations top teams she has matched up against many of the best.
[player_tooltip player_id="27897" first="Flore" last="Ngasamputu"] - 6’2" - Capital Christian #32
Flore has some international experience playing on the FIBA U18 for Africa. She is long and athletic, she can face up some while also playing back to the basket.
[player_tooltip player_id="88786" first="Bennie" last="Lundu"] - 6’6" - Capital Christian #39
At 6’6" the length is coveted by ever school in America. She continues to get stronger as time goes and she is disruptive in the lane altering shots.
[player_tooltip player_id="137230" first="Delaney" last="Yarborough"] - 6’3" - McDonogh #43
[caption id="attachment_76466" align="alignnone" width="300"] Delaney Yarbough[/caption]
Delaney may have the highest ceiling of the bunch at the post. She has great size and strength to go toe to toe with anyone in the class. It appears that she may still be growing so the sky may be the limit by graduation time.
[player_tooltip player_id="88798" first="Hannah" last="Dereje"] - 6’3" - Elizabeth Seton #44
Hannah is long and disruptive in the lane. She runs the the floor with the guards and can catch and finish on the move.
[player_tooltip player_id="137231" first="Giavanni" last="Lynch"] - 6’1" - Holy Child #48
Giavanni has been playing inside since grade school and has been very effective as of late finishing consistently. She may be a hidden gem in the 2022 class.
[player_tooltip player_id="137243" first="Kadidia" last="Toure"] - 6’2" - Good Counsel #57
Toure is on the rise, we were looking forward to seeing her progress in a breakout spring session, unfortunately everything got delayed. She has been looking more and more solid, I expect to see her make a huge jump once play resumes.
