Tyonna Bailey Tyonna Bailey 5'10" | CG Montclair Immaculate | 2023 State NJ | Morris Catholic
Bailey was a force from the guard position since she entered high school. The 5’10 shooting guard was a strong rebounder from the position. She posted a double-double in her first 10 high school games and in 15 of the first 16. Bailey averaged 18.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game in her first season. She was a capable shooter with a great ability to get to the free throw line.
Julia Corsentino Julia Corsentino 5'9" | SG Rumson-Fair Haven | 2023 State NJ | Rumson-Fair Haven
Corsentino was one of the top shooters in the state this season, and definitely the Shore Conference. She made 68 three’s in her first season and quickly built a reputation as a sharpshooter. Corsentino did most of her work from deep but had the ability to get into the lane and score as well. Corsentino was a duel-threat player that was effective on both ends.
Rylie Theuerkauf Rylie Theuerkauf 5'7" | SG Tenafly | 2023 State NJ | Tenafly
Theuerkauf made an impact right away and set the tone for her freshman season. In an opening season game, she finished with 28 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and six steals. She set a season-high of 41 points in a late season win over Dwight-Morrow. She averaged just under 22 points per game as a freshman. She was one of the most dynamic scorers in the state.
Rylee Drahos Rylee Drahos 5'7" | CG Shore | 2023 State NJ | Shore
Drahos got better as the season went on. In the final 16 games, she scored in double-figures 15 times. That included a 25-point performance against St. Rose. Drahos was a scorer at all three levels. She knocked down 40 three’s and showed unlimited range. She is one of the top-ranked freshman in the state and that will be the case over the course of her career.
Tianna Whitney Tianna Whitney 5'9" | SF Edison | 2023 State NJ | Edison
Edison has a history of producing star girls basketball players. Whitney fits the bill. She was a double-double threat every time out this season. Whitney had great instincts and anticipation. She knew where to be to corral rebounds and this outweighed her lack of size. Whitney is extremely quick with the ball in her hands and can spot up and shoot from anywhere.
