As we continue our journey through the best players in the state of Oklahoma, today we take a look at the class of 2022 in the Tulsa area. These sophomores are some of the best in the state and will be doing big things when the grassroots season kicks off sometime in the -- hopefully near -- future.

Jones is an absolute scoring machine. This past season, the sophomore guard averaged 17.1 points per game and shot nearly 45% from the floor. She made 43 three-pointers, as well. But, do not let her shooting prowess fool you. Jones can do it all. She averaged almost six boards a game in the 2019-2020 season. She drives hard to the basket, clearly not worried about facing off with the bigs in the middle. She has a nice pull-up jumper and plenty of handles to get the job done. Jones is a high Division-I prospect and should see the offers rolling in.
Takyla Pitts | Union | 6-0 F | @TK_Pitts
"TK" reminds me of 2022's top player Darianna Littlepage-BuggsDariannaLittlepage-Buggs

. She has outstanding size and a motor that just does not quit. She is a vicious competitor who is a thorn in the side of any team that Union faces off with. Pitts is still trying to figure out her game and that is the main thing that keeps her from rising to Littlepage-Buggs' level. She has all of the skills, but is still trying to find a balance between battling inside - where she averaged six boards a game - and scoring. She averaged 8.4 points per game last season. She made just five three-pointers, but shot almost 40% from behind the arc. As she blossoms into a true stretch-four, Pitts will rise up the PGH rankings and onto the boards of a lot of Division-I coaches.

| Washington | 5-9 F | @aunisty_smith
Smith has great size for a forward and is very, very strong. She is built to endure the rigors of the post. She is a solid defender and does great in 1-on-1 situations. She can handle the ball well and moves very well without it, finding soft spots in the opposing teams' defense and scoring at will. Smith finishes consistently at the hoop and can step out and shoot as needed. She is a scoring threat on every offensive possession that her team has. Aunisty is a star on the rise.

| Washington | 5-8 G | @carrigan_hill
Hill runs the Booker T. Washington offense and is incredibly smart, surely do in part to the fact that she is a coach's daughter. She is a workout warrior who does all of the little things very well. She handles the ball with both hands and sees the floor well. She involves all of her teammates and can often be seen dishing the ball to fellow all-city player Aunisty SmithAunistySmith

. Carrigan has a quick release from three and scores consistently from deep. She is an outstanding defender and a true Division-I prospect.
Lydia McAlvain | Tahlequah | 5-9 G | @Lydiamcalvain
McAlvain is a very well-rounded player. She shoots the three very well, often from very far behind the line. She has a seemingly unlimited range. When McAlvain goes to the hoop, she has shown an advanced eurostep that sees her finish consistently at the rim. Lydia is clearly a student of the game. She hustles and does all of the little things that a coach wants to see out of a player. McAlvain is rising up the Prep Girls Hoops rankings and will soon see the offers come rolling in.
