Player to Watch:
Kayla Unkraut Kayla Unkraut 5'9" | CG St Henry | 2024 State KY . Coming off an 8th grade season where she averaged 15 points and 5 rebounds per game for Villa Madonna, Kayla has transferred to Saint Henry for her actual high school career. She’s a talented lead guard with a good motor who makes others around her better.
X Factor:
Julia Hunt. One of the taller players in the 9th region already at 6’1, Julia is a good shot blocker who plays with a motor, especially on the defensive end. As an 8th grader, Hunt averaged 5 points and 7 rebounds for Holy Cross and her stock will go up as she continues developing her offensive game.
Potential Surprise:
Kendra Collins. Fusion Coach Jason Litz said that Collins is one of the best pure shooters they have ever had in their program and at 5’9, she has great size on the wing. Coach Litz also said that Kendra can handle the ball and rebounds well. He also expects Anna Hamilton to play a big role for his team as she can play all 5 positions and is a leader for his team.
