Cassidy Morris Cassidy Morris 5'6" | SG Trinity (Whitesville) | 2022 State KY , Whitesville Trinity (2022) – One of the top scorers in the state as a Sophomore, Cassidy has the skill set and scoring ability that allows her to score on anyone. If she were playing at Owensboro Catholic and not Trinity, she would be mentioned as the next star for the Lady Aces. Morris could be the best small school player in the state.
Karmin Riley, Hancock County (2025) – Only an 8th grader, Riley led the Lady Hornets in nearly every offensive category in her 7th grade season and is establishing herself as one of the state’s top players in the 2025 class. Already an efficient scorer, Riley is only going to get better and better and is definitely on the radar for a high spot in our eventual 2025 rankings.
Anzley Adwell, Glasgow (2021) – With Ashanti Gore graduating, Adwell’s work load is about to increase significantly but she is very capable. A very capable slasher who can also play in the post some, Anzley should see a significant uptick in scoring and rebounding. It’s not hard to imagine Anzley posting averages of 20 points and 10 rebounds in her Senior season.
Braelyn Davis, Metcalfe County (2022) – A really good shooter who led the Lady Hornets in scoring as a Sophomore, Davis shot an impressive 43% from three last year and actually made 25 more 3s than 2s over the course of the season. Braelyn is in the conversation for best shooter in the 4th region and even in the entire Commonwealth.
Jacie Harper, Metcalfe County (2022) – Another Junior star for Metcalfe, Harper is the opposite of Davis in the sense that she rarely ventures out past the three point line. Jacie does her damage as a slasher and post up threat. She excels at getting to the free throw line and if she improves her shooting from there, she Harper should be an 18 point per game or more scorer.
Anastasia Dowlen Anastasia Dowlen 6'1" | C Russellville | 2022 State KY , Russellville (2022) – One of the state’s top rebounders, we’ve mentioned Dowlen several times since the birth of this site. She’s a raw offensive player but a tough post defender and excellent 2 handed rebounder. Her biggest improvement this off-season could be at the free throw line, where she shot less than 40% last season.
Amiyah Collier, Russellville (2023) – The leading scorer for the Lady Panthers as a freshman, Collier has a chance to end her career as one of the best to ever wear the Russellville uniform. Primarily a slasher, Amiyah has a chance to be a 20 point per game scorer as a Sophomore, especially if she can improve her perimeter shooting and become a more reliable free throw shooter after shooting less than 50% last season.
