In addition to these key players, there are various players who look to make a splash next season with increased roles. Kate Stidham of Crater is guard who finds herself making plays all over the court whereas Olivia Schlag is a low post scorer who looks to enhance her game next season. Ana Sherman for Tualatin is a quick, defensive minded guard who looks to up her offensive game. Kendra Bittle has greatness in her surname and looks to prove that over the next few years for the Comets.
Kate Stidham 2023 5’9″ SG Crater HS – Kate is a resourceful guard for Crater who is very active in the backcourt as a player who is always looking to score and make the right play. The volleyball player for the Comets averaged 3.8 points last season in a role as an aggressive on-ball defender who finds ways to come up with the ball and can either finish herself in the open court or advances the ball via a pass. Athletic, court savvy guard who made an impact last season as an energy player and looks to make further progression.
Olivia Schlag 2023 5’9″ SF Forest Grove HS – Olivia has a good feel in the paint as far as awareness of others and how to score despite defenders surrounding her. She can initiate contact and score through you as well as finesse around you to the cup. She is a good rebounder considering her size and physicality and good interior defender as well. Looks to continue her development in an increased role for Forest Grove next season.
Ana Sherman 2023 5’7″ SG Tualatin HS – Ana is a capable guard who knows how to play at her own pace, looking for others within stride of scoring. She is still working on her shot, which is consistent enough at this stage in her game. She is a good on-ball defender that shows good discipline, keeps up with defenders well and tries to force them into mistakes. She will be a rotational player next season for Tualatin who looks to make an impact.
Kendra Bittle 2023 5’11” PF Crater HS – Kendra is the younger sister of five-star Nathan Bittle, who plays on the boys basketball team at Crater. Bittle, like her brother, is a tall forward with a great wingspan for making plays all over the court. She is also a volleyball player for the Comets, as she displays great potential on the hardwood due to crossover skills from her other sport. She battled injured last season, but battles on the boards, can finish inside, and is an above average defender.
