This series will take a look at some lesser-known players from smaller schools across Kentucky that have or will tear it up at the varsity level. You might not be able to find their hometown on a map, but that hasn’t stopped them from making a name for themselves.
<strong>Chez Tye, Paris - </strong>A versatile scorer, Tye heads into her Senior season as one of the top players in the 10th. She’s a volume scorer and a good rebounder who can get to the rim and finish or knock down an open 3.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="154503" first="Zoe" last="Strings"], Paris - </strong>Her Junior season was limited to 14 games but Zoe led the team in scoring over that time. During her shortened season, she led Paris in nearly every statistical category.
<strong>Emma Courtney, Robertson County - </strong>After posting 12 points and 5.5 rebounds per game as a Junior, Emma should have an even bigger scoring load as she’ll be counted on to carry her team in her Senior season.
<strong>Jada Cleaver, Nicholas County - </strong>Only a Junior, Cleaver led the Lady Jackets to 20 wins while averaging double figure points. She’s one of the top shooters in the region, averaging 35% shooting from behind the three point line.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88418" first="Marie" last="Kiefer"], Bishop Brossart - </strong>One of the top Seniors in the state, Kiefer averaged a double-double last season with 18 points and 10 rebounds per game. With shooting splits of 54/38/67, Marie has MM+ D1 potential and great positional size.
