They were locked in defensively and set the tone early, overwhelming Union County 43-26 in a dominant performance. Every possession was contested, every shot was challenged, and Webster County made it clear they were not backing down on their home floor. From the opening tip to the final buzzer, they dictated the tempo and never allowed Union County to get comfortable offensively.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That win set up the championship matchup everyone expected, Webster County facing off against Henderson County. The Lady Colonels came in undefeated in district play and continued to show why they've built such a strong reputation in the region. Henderson County wasted no time asserting themselves, controlling the game from start to finish on the way to a commanding 73-9 victory. Her ability to stay composed and deliver in key moments has been a huge part of her development this season. As the team's second leading scorer, she consistently provided a scoring punch while also contributing on the glass and from beyond the arc. Her efficiency at the free throw line and overall confidence with the ball in her hands made her a steady and reliable presence all year long, and she stepped up once again when it mattered most.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Senior [player_tooltip player_id='489405' first='Adalyn' last='Gish'] added 11 points and 3 rebounds, shooting over 83% from the field in an extremely efficient performance. She has been one of the most dependable players for Henderson County all season, doing a little bit of everything whenever her number is called. Whether it's scoring around the rim, knocking down shots, or contributing in hustle areas, she has consistently found ways to impact winning.
