This list of prospects all demonstrated the ability to shoot the ball from distance very well. Their teammates made it a point to find them around the perimeter for catch and shoot jumpers and every touch you could hear someone from the opposing team yelling “Shooter!”
Here are the top shooters I saw on the second day of War Games Session II.

Rougier is one of best available scorers in the state. She struggled in the first half a bit but really got it going in the second. She demonstrated the ability to make tough shots that are not very common. She is very shifty and has a strong command of the dribble which assist her in creating her own shot. She knocked in multiple three-pointers and also showed great effectiveness in her mid-range game. Her ability to elevate off of strong drives right into her shot makes her tough to defend. A consistent shooter from the mid-range and beyond.

Morris proved that she was nothing short of a sniper from distance. She has a good catch and shoot rhythm and caught every pass around the perimeter with her feet set and ready to shoot. She showed decent ball-handling and a willingness to drive the lane or baseline when defenders committed to chasing her off the line. She made some good passes when penetrating as well showing good vision when on the move. She has a polished jumper already and will continue to increase her shooting percentage.

Saavedra shot the ball very well in her matchup against Bounce Nation Bria. She showed a quick release and knocked in three from distance. She showed good athleticism and put the ball on the floor a couple of times included a nice drive after a good ball fake. She is also a good defender and has a nice strong frame.
<img class="alignright wp-image-191164 size-thumbnail" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/07/1A7B502B-3D7C-485B-91A1-1140CE201200-scaled-e1595793856154-150x150.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />Xaimara Garcia | 5’7” | PG | Orlando Basketball Club 16U | 2022
Garcia handled the point guard duties for the Florida based team and showed that she could do a little bit of everything. Like Saavedra above she too showed a nice shooting technique from distance and made three of her own. The quick guard played with good control and distributed the ball well. She also defended well and picked up four steals to lead her team.
<img class="alignleft wp-image-191166 size-thumbnail" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/07/E941F4A9-DF33-4547-93B7-665DB56A65FF-scaled-e1595793980340-150x150.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />Sierra Driessen | 5’5” | PG | FBC Hoopstarz Next Era 15U | 2023
Driessen had a good shooting performance in her game against the Georgia Pearls, but she is more than just a shooter. The small quick point guard plays with an energy that is infectious. She consistently made plays on both ends of the floor. She is very shifty and uses her stop and go hesitations very well. Despite her size she was still able to make some acrobatic finishes around bigger defenders at the rim.
<img class="alignleft wp-image-191168 size-thumbnail" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/07/CCC6E10A-3F3D-407C-8AC2-9B84D4634EC1-scaled-e1595794064801-150x150.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />[player_tooltip player_id="153115" first="Sarah" last="Taub"] | 5’11” | SG | E33 Eagles 16U | 2022 | PGH 21
Taub looked good in her game. She, in normal fashion, was lights out from behind the arc and burned the defense when they were late. She has a good understanding of where the open spots are in defenses and is a threat to knock one down each time she touches. I was impressed to see that her game is still evolving and she seemed even more comfortable with the ball in her hands, coming off screens, leading the break, and playing the lead guard at times.
[player_tooltip player_id="118140" first="Paris" last="Miller"] | 5’10” | G | FBC United - The Family | 2022 | PGH 5
Miller played very well on both ends of the floor. She was hot from distance and went 3 of 4 off of her very good shot selection. She has very good elevation on her jumper and can get of the floor into her shot quickly. Like a few others on this list Miller is not just a shooter and has a good all around offensive game. She looked much improved defensively in comparison to the high school season. She possesses more than enough length and athleticism to consistently cause issues for opposing perimeter players.
[player_tooltip player_id="154605" first="Shaina" last="Kriews"] | 5’6” | G | Atlanta Cagers Blue Chip 16U | 2022 | PGH 28
Kriews is a streaky shooter and she had it going early in her game. She can handle the ball pretty well and really looks for open opportunities to shoot off the dribble. She does a good job of running to the open spots on the wing in transition. She finished 3 of 5 from distance.
