EOT NW Shootout Day 1: South Medford

<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Shakia Teague-Perry 2021 5’9" PF South Medford</strong> - Shakia is an undersized post who makes up for the fact with her rugged and aggressive plays as she will sky for rebounds on both ends of the ball.  She helps anchor the Panthers defense in the paint and has great timing on her shot blocking techniques.  Contributed 5 rebounds and 1 block for the first day victory.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158487" first="Toni" last="Coleman"] 2021 5’4" PG South Medford</strong> - We have all come to know Toni as the lightning quick guard who makes her presence felt on both ends of the floor.  On defense, she is engaged with her quick lateral speed and overall awareness.  On offense, she had improved her outside jump shot immensely as well as showed several strong finishes that resulted in a trip to the foul line.  Turned in a 14 point, 2 assist, 2 steal effort for South Medford.  </span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158503" first="Bella" last="Stone"] 2021 5’5" PG South Medford</strong> - Bella is a high IQ guard who helps out her team in ways that the box score cannot show at times.  What does show is that she is a floor general who makes her team better by pushing the ball up the court, finding plays in stride towards the basket.  She is just as defensively engaged and disciplined as her peers.  Had 4 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals in South Medford’s victory.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158483" first="Kaili" last="Chamberlin"] 2021 5’9" SG South Medford</strong> - Kaili is an agile, fluid, very athletic wing for South Medford that makes it look so incredibly easily.  She was picking up rebounds early in the game, running up the court, tossing passes as she was jumping, making it look so routine for her.  Offensively, she has acrobatic finishes around the paint and extends her scoring to the three-point lane, where she hit multiple along the arc.  Kaili finished with a game high 21 points to go with 7 rebounds and 2 steals.  </span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158520" first="Sierra" last="Logue"] 2022 6’2" PF South Medford</strong> - Sierra as we all know, has the capability to stretch the floor out and provide rebounding and interior defense for the Panthers.  She has looked to add strength and tenacity on this frontier, as she had several impressive finishes in the post using evasiveness and physicality.  We all know her as a two way engaged forward who can do it all.  Had a 11 point, 7 rebound, 3 block, 2 steal performance for South Medford.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158504" first="Emma" last="Schmerbach"] 2021 5’9" SG South Medford</strong> - Emma is a reliable cog within the South Medford scheme, one who has an uncanny ability to score in the paint using her slipperiness, elusiveness, and soft touch.  The cross country standout plays with a high motor, understandably, but it is her IQ which makes her standout.  She rebounds and defends well, exactly fitting into the Panthers’ mold.  Contributed 10 points and 5 rebounds in a standout display.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Laini Dahlin 2021 5’8" SG South Medford</strong> - Dahlin is someone who looks to make a significant increase in time and production with the graduation of Pedrojetti as she is capable as anyone else on this team.  She made her mark yesterday as an engaged defender who has a nose to get rebounds with her physicality and active presence on the court.  Turned in a 1 point, 6 rebound performance for South Medford. </span>
