Lady Attack Elite 17U had a dominant weekend at Big Shots Carolina Live eventually losing in the championship game. She is very vocal every time she is on the court. She knows how to get into the best position on defense preventing her opponent from scoring, and she knows where to stand in order to create space for her to make her own basket. Dillinger also knows how to handle the ball herself and consistently finds her open teammate. She steals the ball and immediately begins pushing the ball up the court for some easy transition points. Emily Cunningham has a nice shot to show off. She hit some big time baskets behind the arc. On defense, she knows how to strip the ball from her opponents making her a threat on both ends of the court. She even converts those steals into fast break points frequently. Lucy Vanderbeck is an aggressive guard who can grab a rebound on one end and take it to the other for some fast break points before the opposing team seems to realize she has the ball. She moves well with the ball, and she has a great shot from all over the court. She isn’t scared to drive inside against contact, and she makes great passes inside to her teammates. She is smart with the ball and shows that she has a great IQ. Nyla Mcgill is a very talented point guard. She dives on loose balls and is a terror on defense. She is constantly aware of her surroundings when driving the ball, especially after she steals the ball and converts that into a fast break. She follows every shot and makes sure to put it back up for her own points when she is on offense. Caroline Swartz is a speedy guard who weaves in and out of defenders with ease. Rebounds that she grabs quickly move up the court with her at the lead pushing the ball. She shows no fear when driving against contact. She grabbed a couple of steals as well picking the pockets of her opponents. When she has the ball, she quickly moves with it up the court making moves to score the layup. Abi Svenson hit some great shots from behind the arc. She always found her way close to the basket sneaking by her defender for an easy layup.
