1A Power Players

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are coming down the home stretch of the season here in North Carolina which means playoffs and seeding are right around the corner.  It's the first year we will see 8 champions with the new 8A classification.  For today, though, I'm diving into some of the top contributors in the 1A classification.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block well on both ends of the court being ready to defend the basket with transition defense and pushing the tempo going the other direction.  She does well finding her open teammates to get them some points, and she knows how to relocate to get the pass back from them running offensive plays.  She gets inside to grab rebounds as well, especially giving her team another chance on offense.</p> <!-- she needs to do to get the open look.  She can even spin her way in the paint to create some pace, and she knows how to make her defenders crash around her to make the dish to her teammate.  She'll go to battle on the block using offensive rebounds to bank two points off the glass.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block reading the floor knowing when to make her own dish, pull up for her jumper, and on defense jump in front of passing lanes for steals.  She handles the ball well under pressure taking it coast to coast on her own off of these turnovers.  She doesn't back down from handling business on the block using her quick footwork to score her points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- hands in the way blocking their paths and their passes.  She hustles up the court being ready for passes in transition, and she knows when to pull back or take the ball all the way.  She's aggressive
