Continue ReadingAllie Hueckman 2021 5’10″ SG Oregon Elite/Burns HS – No one does it quite like Hueckman, as the Eastern Washington was a huge catalyst in Oregon Elite’s ride to the Bronze Championship in the 2021 Aqua pool. She had 17 points that came as eclectic as ever, as she used her uncanny ability to float in the air towards a string of highly skilled points. She can score all over the floor and do it with much needed consistency and certainly scores with style points.
Lainey Spear Lainey Spear 6'2" | PF Beaverton | 2023 State OR 2023 6’0″ PF Clutch Players/Beaverton HS – Lainey played significant minutes for a young Clutch Players 2022 team and really showed her versatility as a forward who can pass in the high post and make plays for others as well as score in the paint with consistency. Spear has sensational footwork combined with discipline that seals the gaps for her team as shown in her 4 point, 10 rebound, 2 assist performance.
Sydney Burns Sydney Burns 5'8" | PG Wilsonville | 2021 State OR 2021 5’8″ SG Oregon Elite/Wilsonville HS – The UC Davis signee was an absolute star in Indianapolis as she impacted games for Oregon Elite 17U Navy all across the board as an invigorating cog in their success. She is tenacious on defense and once the ball is in her hands, she pinpoints teammates in exact location and zings the ball in a moment’s glance. Her 2 point, 4 rebound, 6 assist, 2 steal performance was very indicating of her all around tendencies.
Carly Wheeler 2021 5’10″ PF Oregon Elite/Sheldon HS – The Eugene native is a technician in the low post, where she has a variety of moves that are backed up by great footwork and witty evasiveness. She was a consistent scorer for Oregon Elite 17U White that had several big showings of scoring when they most needed it and continued to consolidate that she is a key piece of their success this summer.
Afton Keeney 2021 6’0″ PF Clutch Players/Westview HS – Keeney is a big body in the paint who is aggressive as a defender who makes a living grabbing rebounds and challenging shots at the rim. The Beaverton native had a significant 4 point, 13 rebound, 2 block, 2 steal game where she asserted her dominance in the paint as an active forward who is fully engaged and skilled as she filled up the stat sheet.
