<p class="p1"><span class="s1">PSB Rise 16U has some great athletes on their team.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Here are the standouts in a competition against Team Carolina 16U.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Halle Chaffin</b> was a dominant player all over the court.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was able to make midrange jumpers after creating separation between her and her defender, and she consistently positioned herself well to make post moves.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her aggressiveness with the ball allowed her to make many trips to the free throw line.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b><img class="size-medium wp-image-201490 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/09/Gabrielle-Tapley-copy-scaled-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" />Gabrielle Tapley</b> was a force not to be messed with inside.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She moved well to the right areas of the court and positioned herself strategically to make a play with the ball.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was a strong rebounder setting herself up for some good put-backs.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>On defense, she was all over her opponents jumping into passing lanes and picking the pockets of the players in front of her.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>These steals were quickly taken up the court where she fought through contact for some points.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>McKenzie Taylor</b> came right off the bench making a steal that turned into a fast break.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Jumping into passing lanes continued for her throughout the game.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her vision of the court translated well on offense making great entry passes to her post players.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She made some great floaters and hit a big three pointer just when Team Carolina was trying to close the gap.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="124102" first="Ny’Keriasia" last="Coleman"]</b> was an excellent ball handler for PSB.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She consistently pushed <img class="size-medium wp-image-201491 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/09/Nykeriasia-Coleman-copy-scaled-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" />the ball up the court and made moves blowing by her defenders.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She had some great pull up jumpers and was successful shooting behind the arc.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Anna Mathis</b> ran full steam ahead when handling the ball blowing by defenders for some layups when her team was making a comeback.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was consistently the first one back for some fast break points, and she handled any kind of contact that she went up against.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Reece Johnson</b> was superb on defense.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>It seemed like her hands were always in the way causing deflections and steals ending the possession for Team Carolina.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She helped control the ball, especially against a tough press.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Marissa Sorvillo</b> was strong late in the game for PSB.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She handled the ball against a tough defense and was aggressive driving the ball inside.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She weaved in and out of her opponents moving up and down the court with the ball scoring points to give her team the lead.</span></p>
