Kidder County went into last year as one of the perceived favorites in Region 3 and mostly made good on the hype, winning 21 games and advancing to the region championship game. With an all-state caliber lead guard and an experienced host of complementary players, the Wolves have a look of a contender.
Go-To Girl: [player_tooltip player_id="98728" first="Madelyn" last="Schmidt"]
Schmidt was an all-stater as a sophomore and averaged nearly 18 points and five assists as a junior, setting the tone for the Wolves on both ends of the floor. She’s great when it comes to applying pressure on the ball at the point of attack, causing deflections and triggering transition opportunities. Rath was a solid role player as a freshmen, playing big minutes late in the year and providing shot-making and solid defense at the top of the defense. The talent is there for them to contend again despite there being a number of high-level outfits.
