Let’s take a look at team #7.
[player_tooltip player_id="127279" first="MyKayla" last="Cunningham"], 5’9", CG/SF, Salina Central, 2023 -- Cunningham had a strong event, especially the first pair of games. Off a lane drive she was able to whirl quickly and go up for a 8’ jumper with elevation. Very aggressive off the bounce, she also had a entertaining finish off a drive down the middle of lane. Off a spin she went up quickly while continuing under the basket. Her shot caught glass and banked in like it was scripted with her completely under the basket with her back to the baseline. At times she got ahead of herself, needing to sharpen her handles at speed in transition. Defensively she boxed very well away from the shot.

Dawson plays with speed, is a strong perimeter shooter, and finishes athletically. A strong defensive player, she was one of the few who defended fellow all-Expo team selection [player_tooltip player_id="127285" first="McKayla" last="Miller"] well. Dawson shoots her quick jump shot with elevation.
[player_tooltip player_id="124999" first="Gaby" last="Henderson-Artis"], 6’0", SG/SF, Bishop Miege, 2022 -- Henderson-Artis also was selected to the All-Kansas Expo team. Long, fast, and athletic she also showed quick hands on the defensive end.

Dejaunee Jackson, 5’8", Wichita South, 2021 -- Jackson got lazy boxing out weak side on long rebound and gave up a score to a offensive board crasher.
[player_tooltip player_id="93974" first="Emajin" last="McCallop"], 5’8", PG, Bishop Miege, 2022 -- Solid defensively, McCallop shined showing off her speed and athleticism with the ball.
[player_tooltip player_id="106915" first="Kamari" last="Ouck"], 5’9", W, Parkview (MO), 2021 -- Ouck showed herself to be a solid, all-around player. An extra step of quickness and deliberateness on the box out will help sharpen her game.

Grace Quinn, 5’6", PG, St. Theresa’s Academy (MO), 2022 -- Running the point Quinn showed quickness, handles, and the ability to play fast.

Photo by Robert Kelly,[/caption]Alexiana Robinson, 5’3", PG, Van Horn, 2021 -- This is the second time I have seen Robinson within a month. Moving a bit better laterally than at the previous Expo she continued to show the ability to play in control, taking open shots when the opportunity presented itself. Positionally she played well and she continued to show quick hands.
[player_tooltip player_id="158598" first="Aisya" last="Taylor"], 5’9", SF/PF, Highland Park, 2022 -- Needs to protect the ball better off the rebound.
[caption id="attachment_210941" align="alignleft" width="151"] Shawnee Mission Northwest 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="47064" first="Kennedy" last="Taylor"]. Photo by Robert Kelly.[/caption][player_tooltip player_id="47064" first="Kennedy" last="Taylor"], 6’2", C, Shawnee Mission Northwest, 2021 -- The last of the team members to be named to the All-Kansas Expo team, Taylor showed not only made good use of her size and strength but also her quickness. She effectively came from the weak side to shot block on drivers; made the quick, catchable pass to cutters from the top of the key, and showed three point range.
