Sarah Baker Sarah Baker 6'2" | C Ryle | 2024 State KY , Ryle – One of my favorite players at the PH 250 Expo, I’ve already bought all the stock in Baker that I can afford and hoping that she proves me right. The reigning (still) state champs bring back a strong core but Sarah can be the next great Ryle player and a mismatch for every opposing defense she faces thanks to her solid low post game and ability to shoot from deep.
Ramiya White Ramiya White 6'4" | C Butler | 2024 State KY , Male – Not to fall into the oldest stereotype around but you can’t teach size and White has it at 6’3. Her skill set and coordination are still a work in progress but as an 8th grader, Ramiya averaged 4 points and 4 rebounds. Don’t be surprised to see her average closer to a double-double this season.
Kayla Unkraut Kayla Unkraut 5'9" | CG St Henry | 2024 State KY , Saint Henry – As an 8th grader, Kayla was one of the leading scorers in the 24 class. Now enrolled at Saint Henry, she should have more talent around her. Unkraut should see fewer double teams and an increase in scoring efficiency as a Freshman. Look for her to be among the top “All A” players in Northern Kentucky.
Nylaia Carter, Sacred Heart – Sacred Heart is going to be a little down from their level of success last season but Carter expects to be able to help prevent much of a drop-off. After playing at Male last season, Nylaia made the switch to the Valkyries for the next 4 seasons. After losing 5 strong Seniors to graduation, Carter should have plenty of opportunity to get on the floor for Sacred Heart and could be a double figure scorer this season.
