<strong>Final: Oregon Elite Navy 56 - Clutch Rose 40 </strong>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Oregon Elite Navy took on Clutch Rose on the first day of the 28.5 League “The Bubble” in Arizona, as familiar foes took the court and went up head to head. As many of these players from both squads are based out of the Portland area, it was a somewhat rivalry game as these two teams clashed. For the greater part of the first half, the two teams traded blows, going back and forth between scores. The game started out with Syd Burns scoring on back to back possessions, the first being a floater and the second being a rebound. [player_tooltip player_id="158547" first="Madison" last="Naro"] had a nice isolation lay-up that ended up being a three-point play - the old school way. Syd Burns scored off an inbound as on the next play Burns found Hueckman for a triple. [player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] found Borter for a triple, as a Spear to Sixta triple tied the affair at 9.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">With some free throws back and forth, Richman found [player_tooltip player_id="158567" first="Lainey" last="Spear"] for a nice mid-post score as Spear scored again - this time off an inbounds. Syd Burns discord and found Hueckman for another triple. [player_tooltip player_id="158567" first="Lainey" last="Spear"] scored in some nice high post action as Sixta found Spear again. Syd Burns scored off an isolation move and found Hueckman in a nice lob over the defense. [player_tooltip player_id="158525" first="Sage" last="Kramer"] would find Hueckman for a triple, as Oregon Elite Navy led Clutch Rose 29-22 at halftime in a somewhat close game as both teams found some footing by the end of the half.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The second half found Clutch Rose clawing their way back, but not before a [player_tooltip player_id="158479" first="Schuyler" last="Berry"] basket and a Syd Burns hang lay-up score. [player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] would sink a triple as well as Kelsie Siegner. Borter would find back to back scorers off dribble penetration moves, the first being to Sixta for a triple. Clutch Cardinal would be within striking distance, trailing 35-40 with some considerable momentum moving forward. Richman would drain another dribble as Naro would have a nice interior score. Berry would find Hassmann alongside the arc for a triple.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Syd Burns took the game over as she began making plays left and right. Syd Burns dumped into [player_tooltip player_id="158479" first="Schuyler" last="Berry"] for a score as Syd Burns would score the ball, leading to a score. Syd Burns finds [player_tooltip player_id="158525" first="Sage" last="Kramer"] for a jumper. Burns found [player_tooltip player_id="158486" first="Cami" last="Fulcher"]. Richman would sink another three and Syd Burns would complete a nice three-point play - the old school way - going coast to coast. The game would end up back to back Hassmann steals, which ended up in Oregon Elite Navy scores - the first being a Starr lay-up and the final one in the form of a Fulcher lay-up. Oregon Elite Navy would run away with this game in a 56-40 manner with a nice spurt at the end of the contest.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">The UC Davis commit is a walking triple double, as she impacts the game at such a high level for her team - with the ability to take over a game at any instant. This was apparent at the end of the second half as she single handedly made plays, scoring at a whim and finding teammates in optimal positions on the floor. She is a fully engaged piston that never runs out of energy and supplies so much for her team as she is the heart and soul of a talented Oregon Elite Navy team. Her 17 point, 6 rebound, 6 assist performance was incredibly indicative of her accumulation of her skill set.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Hueckman and Starr</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Allie is a sharpshooter who has a deadly range to go with a high shooting percentage, bolstered by her great leaping abilities. Teammates knew when and where to find her as she sank several huge three-pointers, as some of them came in pivotal moments in the game. She shifted the momentum as her 12 points came in crucial times during the contest. Dani Starr is a lethal two-way player, as she brings a lot of aggression and calculatedness to both ends of the floor. She is a tenacious defender who strikes at all angles as a scorer, both inside and out. Her 8 point, 2 rebound, 2 assist, 2 steal effort was very telling of her abilities.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Richman is a polished scorer who is amongst the leaders for a young Clutch Rose team, as she showcased the ability to step up and knock down jumpers when her team needed her most. Her duties alongside the perimeter include distributing the ball and finding her teammates in scoring position, but she also has the uncanny ability to pull-up and sink a jumper out of seemingly nowhere. Her 10 point, 2 rebound, 2 assist performance showcased her abilities as a playmaking guard with big upside. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Clutch Rose All-Around Play</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="158544" first="Emma" last="Sixta"] showed her versatile skill set as a guard with range and playmaking abilities due to her cerebral skills and ability to make plays for others. Her 6 point, 2 rebound, 2 assist performance did not go unnoticed as she showed poise everywhere. [player_tooltip player_id="158547" first="Madison" last="Naro"] had a gutsy 8 point, 2 rebound, 2 steal effort where she made some serious skill points with some tremendous upside as a crafty scorer. Naro’s 8 point, 2 rebound total kept Rose in the game. [player_tooltip player_id="158567" first="Lainey" last="Spear"]’s 8 point, 2 rebound, and 2 assists were telling of a skilled and long forward with the ability to play high and low-post. </span>
