Best Available Senior Point Guards

With the season not starting until January (at the earliest) there are plenty of Kentucky Seniors still looking for a home at the next level. Here’s a look at some of Kentucky’s best unsigned combo guards. [player_tooltip player_id="31851" first="Hayley" last="Caudill"], Hazard - One of the best players in all of the mountains, Caudill is able to score or create for others and is firmly in the mix for the Miss Basketball nomination this season. Hayley would be a great pickup for any D2/NAIA school looking for a lead guard who can get a bucket or run a team. [player_tooltip player_id="88426" first="Kelci" last="Blair"], Johnson Central - Blair is a solid two way player who can be as much of a force on defense as she is on the offensive end. Kelci is a well rounded player who should have several scholarship level suitors by the end of her Senior season. [player_tooltip player_id="88430" first="Kayra" last="Freeman"], Elizabethtown - The time is now for Kayra to step up in a big way for the reigning 5th region champs. E-town lost a ton off the 5th region championship team and will rely on Freeman to score a lot of points as well as create open looks for her teammates. [player_tooltip player_id="88429" first="Hayley" last="Neely"], Walton-Verona - A well rounded player who is the best shooter on this list, Neely is coming off a season where she shot 43% from 3 as a Junior while also running her team. She's probably going to have to take on a larger scoring role as a Senior but she is capable. [player_tooltip player_id="88431" first="Addi" last="Bowling"], Somerset - Addi is a fantastic slasher who gets to the free throw line at a high rate but struggled as a less than 50% shooter from the line last season. If she can raise her shooting overall, Bowling is going to be in the mix for 12th region player of the year. If she can shoot 40% or better from the field, she'll average 20 a game.
