What’s the best thing for college coaches about these 2 young stars? Well, they’ve made themselves very recruitable. How? By excelling in the classroom. Kaitlyn Sanders Kaitlyn Sanders 6'1" | SF Birmingham Groves | 2023 State MI (2023, 6-1, SF, Birmingham Groves)
Sanders is carrying a 4,27 GPA.
I was lucky to see Sanders play recently at the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo. Her versatility was staggering. Sanders can play any position on the floor effectively. She can score from all over the floor, but specifically impressive is her 3 point shooting. It’s easy to see that Sanders is a student of the game that plays with a high basketball IQ. She seems like a natural leader as well, even at a young age. She’s an exciting player to watch and her future is incredibly bright.
Nevaeh Otis (2024, 5-9, CG, Birmingham Groves)
Otis currently has a 4.0 GPA.
Otis is a stellar backcourt prospect in yet another loaded class in Michigan. She has big time potential. She can play on or off the ball with ease. Otis has some very impressive handles, especially in the open floor. This helps her play the game at any pace and be a bona fide weapon in transition. She can put the ball on the floor, manipulate her defender, and finish at the rim. Otis can score from multiple levels, showing a solid jumper with 3 point range. Otis is a name that we’ll be hearing a lot from over the next 4 years.
