is pretty much impossible to match up against at the High School level.
Repeat after me, the Winter Haven Lady Blue Devils are for real! Winter Haven showed they are going to be a force to be reckoned with all season picking up two victories in a very convincing manner taking down Dr Phillips 71-36 on day # 1 and the defeating West Orange 91-62 on day # 2 in the final game of the event. made their presence known early and often, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Murray is leading the team in scoring and Peaks is the team’s leader in assists.
Montverde Academy was impressive winning both their games by 30+ points each. If there is any team in the state that may be able to match up against Lake Highland Prep’s front court of

were both impressive as well and allow Montverde to spread the floor from the perimeter positions.
Head Coach Tommie Butts had his Wekiva squad ready to play as they went undefeated in the event picking up two solid wins vs St Pete Lakewood and Seffner Christian. Freshman 5’6 Guard Jade Eads (Class of 2024) is going to be an intriguing prospect to follow and monitor her development.
Miami Country Day struggled losing both their games vs two difficult opponents. They have never been one to shy away from playing the best of the best across the state and nationally. They looked like a team that needs some time to build team chemistry and define their roles. They will rely heavily on Senior Forward

St Pete Lakewood took on two of the top teams in event and went down swinging. They were overmatched by two more talented teams but fought and competed hard in both games. They will rely heavily on 5’7 Junior Guard
