Top Players
2021 6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="219992" first="Harsimran" last="Kaur"]
The 6’4 Wing/Forward is the headliner of the Central Pointe roster. Kaur or “Honey” as she is often referred to, is from Punjab, India, and recently signed with the University of San Diego. She is long, skilled player who plays on the perimeter and can spread the floor knocking down the 3, mixing in a solid mid-range game and she runs the floor really good.
2022 6’1 [player_tooltip player_id="219996" first="Daniela" last="Gonzalez"]
Gonzalez who is from Colombia is a special talent that can shoot the 3, can play inside and out, has great footwork and a solid mid-range game as well. She has received interest early on from several division one schools including University of San Diego, LaSalle, Florida Atlantic, Stony Brook, Fordham, Arkansas State, and Columbia.
2022 5’10 [player_tooltip player_id="219994" first="Naylee" last="Cortes"]
Cortes, who is also form Colombia, is the team’s most athletic player. She is really fast both with and without the ball. She is a great slasher, getting to the rim at ease with solid 1on1 moves and a quick first step. She is versatile and long allowing her to defend positions 1 through 4 . She plays with a ton of energy on both sides of the ball and does a ton of the intangibles for the Central Pointe team. She has received initial interest from Stony Brook, Columbia, and UNC Greensboro.
2022 5’5 [player_tooltip player_id="219993" first="Silkiari" last="Vazquez"]
Vazques is a very tough point guard from Puerto Rico. She is the teams on court leader serving as an extension of the coach. She does a great job protecting the ball. She runs the team with a lot of passion and has an excellent assist to turnover ratio consistently setting up her scorers for easy shots. The gritty point guard can drive and shoot as well. She is a special talent on the court.
