[player_tooltip player_id='1261851' first='Shea' last='Donovan'] solidified herself as one of the top freshmen in the State, and her stock rose by the end of the first quarter of the championship game. Already producing at a high level entering the postseason, Donovan showed poise and controlled the game from the beginning until the end on the state's biggest stage. Donovan dictated tempo, made strong decisions, and impacted the game in multiple ways without ever looking phased by the moment. Her ability to stay composed under pressure and consistently make the right play reinforced her status as one of the top young guards in the State. Her performance landed her a state championship and a rising profile as the grassroots season kicks off.

[player_tooltip player_id='738515' first='Kylee' last='Trent']'s stock rose significantly during the championship run, as she showcased her ability to score at all three levels. She knocked down shots from the perimeter, created opportunities in the mid-range, and attacked the rim with purpose. What stood out most was her poise in key moments—Trent consistently made big plays under pressure, displaying confidence and a strong feel for the game on the state's biggest stage. A composed and competitive guard, she can handle the ball, score creatively, and deliver when it matters most. All of these traits equate to a player whose stock has risen since the FHSAA state playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1764364' first='Janiyah' last='Span'] brought toughness, energy, and consistent production on both ends of the floor during the state semifinals and finals. She was a true workhorse—rebounding at a high level, defending multiple positions, and contributing offensively both inside and from the perimeter. Her impact showed up all over the court. She produced blocks and steals to create second-chance opportunities. Span also showed her versatility by stepping out and knocking down shots from beyond the arc, solidifying herself as a difference maker on both ends of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136118' first='Reah' last='Saunders'] (cover photo) made a strong impression on the state stage, showcasing speed, maturity, and a level of control that stood out — especially for an eighth grader. She handled the ball well, controlled the pace of the game, and consistently made plays that shifted momentum. Defensively, she set the tone early, applying pressure and disrupting the opposing team's rhythm. Her activity on that end created opportunities and impacted the flow of the game. Long viewed as a promising middle school prospect, Saunders is now well on her way to something more. As she prepares to enter high school after the summer, the “middle school” label no longer defines her — her game does. She is clearly on the rise and already showing the tools of a high-level guard heading into the grassroots season and beyond.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249017' first='Angelina' last='Laudicina'] stepped up with confidence, using her length, versatility, and basketball IQ to impact the game. She stretched the floor with her shooting (including a perfect outing from three in the semifinals), handled pressure well, and made smart reads within the offense. Her ability to complement playmakers while still being a scoring threat adds value to her overall game. Laudicina produced all season, and her stock continued to rise after performing on the biog stage the way she has done all season.

Rypien's presence was felt on both ends of the floor, as she competed inside while also showing comfort on the perimeter. The sophomore forward knocked down the three with a smooth stroke, showing another dimension to her game.
