Amanda Barber (2022, CG, Gobles High School, Macon 6 Basketball Academy)
Strengths:
– 2 way player that can influence a game on both ends
– High basketball IQ – this is a skill that she developed with her willingness and ability to break down film
– Unlimited range on jumper – This earned her the nickname “Logo Lillard”. She can even pull up and bury a 3 in transition.
– 3 level scorer
– Finishes at the rim through contact
Area For Improvement:
– Becoming more of a vocal leader
Basketball Goals:
– She wants to help her team win a District Championship.
– Barber wants receive the honor of being an All-State player.
– She hopes to have the opportunity to play college basketball.
What Can She Bring To A College Program?
Barber is a trustworthy player that a coach can always count on and know what they’re getting. She will do whatever is asked of her and will bring great energy to a program, on and off the court.
Emma Allison (2022, 6-0, Wing, Bloomingdale High School, Macon 6 Basketball Academy)
Strengths:
– Solid defender with quick hands – Allows her to guard as well as disrupt the passing lanes.
– Rising prospect with a high ceiling – Allison really broke out late in the summer when she averaged 9.7 ppg and 7 rpg.
– Solid passer
– Aggressive on the glass
– Very fundamentally sound jumper – In grassroots season, she hit 5 threes in the 1st half against a tough Indiana Flight squad.
– 3 level scorer
Area For Improvement:
– Continue to gain in game experience and growth in her all around game.
Basketball Goal:
Allison wants use her experience and growth from the summer to help lead her high school team to a District Championship.
What Can She Bring To A College Program?
Allison has a lot to offer. She’ll provide a team with a wing with nice positional size and length, that can score from multiple spots. Her versatility will be valuable.
