Rankings By The Numbers: 2022
Now we will look at the players that occupy some key rankings numbers in the class of 2021.

#1 and #2

[player_tooltip player_id="4132" first="Damiya" last="Hagemann"] (PG, Detroit Edison)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #1
[player_tooltip player_id="26677" first="Morasha" last="Wiggins"] (SF, Kalamazoo Central)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #2
There’s no right or wrong answer to decide which of these stars is number 1 or 2. They are both national superstars. Hagemann will head to Michigan State after high school while Wiggins will star at North Carolina.

#10

[player_tooltip player_id="138301" first="Emaia" last="O’Brien"] (PG, Chandler Park)
O’Brien has been perpetually under ranked for the last 4 years. Prep Girls Hoops Michigan finally put her where she belongs - in the Top 10. O’Brien is an absolute lightning bolt offensively.

#25

[player_tooltip player_id="138307" first="Mya" last="Hiram"] (PF, Onsted)
Hiram is one of the most physical, strong, and tough post players in the state of Michigan. She’s a constant threat at a double-double. Everything I’ve heard has been rave reviews as far as her leadership.

#50

[player_tooltip player_id="177294" first="Caprice" last="Augustine"] (PF, Ypsilanti)
I feel like Augustine has a really high ceiling as a player. The tools are all there that indicate a potentially stellar career at the next level.

#75

[player_tooltip player_id="138334" first="Elizabeth" last="Klein"] (PF, Saginaw Heritage)
Klein has really carved out a niche at Saginaw Heritage. With young star guards, she has turned into the perfect complimentary post for rim attacking perimeter players. Klein can run the floor with the guards as well.

#100

[player_tooltip player_id="138392" first="Laila" last="Vincent"] (PF, Kalamazoo Central)
Vincent had a really nice junior season and sent a message to the rest of the state. When she gets going.....WATCH OUT. Vincent can put up numbers in bunches.

#125

[player_tooltip player_id="138371" first="Braquelle" last="Osborne"] (CG, Montague)
Osborne shouldn’t be overlooked in the senior class. She can play on or off the ball and has range beyond the arc on her jumper. Osborne isn’t afraid to take the big shot.

#150

[player_tooltip player_id="138389" first="Abby" last="Sobutka"] (PF, Northville)
Sobutka gets the job done in typical Northville fashion. She an absolutely selfless player that isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and do the little things that earn wins.

#175

[player_tooltip player_id="177300" first="Kaelyn" last="Kaul"] (PG, Clarkston)
Kaul is way more talented than your average player at this number. It’s a combination of being underrated and the terrific depth in the state. Kaul has all the skills to play guard at the next level.

#200

[player_tooltip player_id="175192" first="Olivia" last="Lowe"] (PF, Leeland)
Lowe is an athletic post player that seems most comfortable facing the basket. She’s a bouncy player that rebounds the ball high.

#236

[player_tooltip player_id="177291" first="Alivia" last="Knapp"] (PG, Three Rivers)
Knapp will sneak up on some people this season. She gets scorers the ball at the right time and right place. I’d look for her scoring numbers to rise this season as well.
