It has been a difficult stretch for Saydel, as the Eagles went a combined 1-42 over the past two seasons. However, they are just a few years removed from four consecutive seasons of at least 10 wins. Returning players such as Emily Lowe, Orianna Martin and Rachel Barton will try to lead the way. Lowe scored 151 points with 102 rebounds while Martin added 73 points and 74 boards.

Since the 2006-07 season, Sergeant Bluff-Luton has not won fewer than 12 games, going 13-9 a year ago. During that stretch, they have eight years of at least 15 wins. [player_tooltip player_id="63644" first="Emma" last="Salker"] and Maddie Hinkel are back to try and keep that trend going in the right direction. Salker posted nearly 11 points per game last year with Hinkel adding eight and five rebounds. Both are juniors.

After going 1-21 in 2014-15, a positive change was made around Seymour. The Warriors won 12 games the following season before going 20-2, 23-1 and 20-1. They were 16-7 a year ago, showing that they are definitely a contender. Natalee Watters scored 330 points and returns. The senior shot nearly 47 percent from the 3-point line a year ago. She also had 44 assists and will be counted on for even more this winter.

The three leading scorers from a year ago return for Sheldon, as they look to improve in the win column after earning five victories. [player_tooltip player_id="165051" first="Brooklyn" last="Grady"] led the way with 200 points, shooting nearly 38 percent from the 3-point line. Maliah Kleinhesselink and Makenna Kleinhesselink, juniors, scored 180 and 156 points. Maliah Kleinhesselink also grabbed 133 rebounds.

While a handful of regulars have moved on, leading scorer and rebounder [player_tooltip player_id="163333" first="Ava" last="Wolf"] is back. As a sophomore, Wolf averaged nearly 11 points and six rebounds per game, shooting 52 percent from the field. Keelee Razee also returns along with Brenna Godfread.
