2024 Watch List: Top Forwards

As we take a look at the class of 2024, we are introduced to a new batch of faces that have considerable skill as freshmen. has already made strides as a middle school as the total package at the forward position and looks to continue to make noise at Benson Tech. has jumped on the scene as a center with tremendous size and awareness on both ends of the floor as a fluid forward with great awareness. looks to be a cornerstone for South Medford in the future as a player with great length, size, and athletic abilities. for Jesuit is an instinctual forward who is aggressive and confident with her regards as an interior scorer and rim protector. Mahogany Chandler-Roberts Mahogany Chandler-Roberts 6'2" | PF Benson Tech | 2024 State OR 2024 6’2" PF Benson Tech/Holla - Mahogany is a refined forward who has a lot of fluidity and ability to make plays on the run - with sheer assertiveness. She is the type to play based on feel alone and her athletic abilities allow her to do so. Chandler-Roberts has the size and the instincts as a basketball player who has the “it” factor. Ava Heiden Ava Heiden 6'4" | C Sherwood | 2024 State OR 2024 6’2" C Sherwood HS /NW Select - Heiden is the traditional blend of forward/center who has immense size at the position who combines skill and length as a rebounder, rim protector, and interior scorer. She shows precise timing as a shot blocker who illustrates a lot of defensive awareness. Ava has great footwork and IQ , which aid her on both ends of the floor. Kimberly Ceron Kimberly Ceron 6'1" | PF South Medford | 2024 State OR 2024 6’1" PF South Medford HS - Ceron is a forward with precision on defensive timing, particularly as a rim protector who alters and blocks a lot of shots coming her way. Her skill set are vastly improving as she already has the intangibles as a forward with good athletic skills. She has a lot of potential as she has the raw skills and is learning the game. Kendra Hicks Kendra Hicks 6'0" | PF Jesuit | 2024 State OR 2024 5’11" SF Jesuit HS/Tree of Hope - Kendra has a good feel for the game as a fierce and disciplined forward with great skills as an interior scorer with an ensemble of moves in the post. She has a superb motor as a productive player on the boards and shows good awareness in the paint. A natural rim protector who routinely makes the right reads and plays.
