North Dakota Rankings Update: 2022 Class Newcomers

#13 [player_tooltip player_id="245014" first="Emma" last="Lucas"] - Northern Cass - (6’0/C/2022) - Emma is the most profound addition to the 2022 rankings, coming in at #13. Emma is a post that looks to post up and get the ball inside. She’ll also roam on the wing, then find an opponent to put her body on. Defensively, she uses her supreme length on both the wing and in the paint. Plays the top of their press, because she’s long and athletic. Can hit a mid-range jumper. #20 [player_tooltip player_id="238455" first="Anthonet" last="Nabwe"] - Jamestown - (5’9/SF/2022) - An extremely strong and active rebounder, leading the WDA in rebounding at 9.8 per game. Great athleticism and toughness to go with it. Not just a rebounder, as she’s scoring 11.7 ppg. on 54% from the field. #21 [player_tooltip player_id="238453" first="Breena" last="Sand"] - Bismarck Legacy - (5’9/SG/2022) - Breena is a solid add to the rankings, as she is a key piece to a top North Dakota class A team in Bismarck Legacy. She’s been highly efficient, shooting 47% at 10.8 ppg. #35 [player_tooltip player_id="249937" first="Sweet" last="Cedar Perkins"] - Garrison - (5’8/PG/2022) - A point guard with good skills in ball-handling and passing. Good overall size from the point guard spot. She’s a big-time threat from three and Garrison will run her off screens to setup three point opportunities for her. Quick release and great range with it. #39 [player_tooltip player_id="245017" first="Abby" last="Richman"] - Northern Cass - (5’5/PG/2022) - Another Northern Cass addition to the rankings. A point guard that controls tempo and takes control of the Northern Cass offense. Defensively, she’s always trying to be in the best positioning as possible. An accurate passer that makes good decisions with the ball. #43 [player_tooltip player_id="250662" first="Nora" last="Johnson"] - Nelson County- (5’8/SG/2022) - A long 5’8 and has great agility and movement skills. Looks like she could be 5’10 with her long arms. Uses her arms to force her opponents into difficult passes. A quick first-step to blow by the defense. An aggressive offensive player, looking for her shot and a lane to drive. #52 [player_tooltip player_id="245564" first="Ivy" last="Fox"] - Parshall - (6’0/PF/2022) - A skilled lefty with size that can play inside and outside, shooting the three. A good athlete for 6’0, that can get to the hoop off-the-dribble, and finish. Can contort herself to make difficult finishes. Aggressive and always finding a way to score the ball. Ivy could easily continue to rise up the rankings board in future updates. #62 [player_tooltip player_id="240890" first="Hannah" last="Burtman"] - Divide County - (5’11/C/2022) - A steady post prospect that gives consistent effort and action. Good length for 5’11-6’0. Consistently battling for position and calling for the ball. Good inside finishing ability and is the go-to post player for Divide County.
