She fit in great with the Hawks full-court defensive pressure and made things really difficult for opponents. Her active hands were really tough and made passing lanes hard to see. She is a steady ball-handler and was able to help relieve handling duties from Horace's starting point guard. Sydney is also a sniper from deep, shooting the three at 42% on the season.

Katrin is another reserve for the Hawks and one of 6 players on their roster to play in every single game this season. Her role on the team was to come in and be a defensive beast. She is a quick and powerful guard and can battle with bigger girls due to her impressive strength. She plays with tremendous effort and isn't afraid to get on the ground dive for loose balls. Flanagan will likely have a similar role next season with Horace only graduating 2 seniors that played, but I think she accepts her role willingly and excels in it. She is a proven winner.

[player_tooltip player_id='1132723' first='Sammy' last='Watson'] is a future All-WDA type of player. She is an impressive looking athlete on the floor and has a powerful first step. She has a college frame and does a ton of positive things for the Sabers. She doesn't make a lot of mistakes out on the court, plays great on both sides of the floor, and plays hard. Her end of season stat line is impressive. She finished averaging 9.4 points, 5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 2 steals per game while shooting 47% from the field and 47% from deep.

Kollman is a crafty left-handed forward. She moves well and does a lot of the little things for her team that might not always show up in the box score. She is a good athlete and moves well on the court. She keeps space and knows when to duck-in and get post positioning. She is good on the left block and has a nice drop-step move to her strong hand.

Pulskamp excelled in her role as one of the first girls off of the bench. She brings a spark to the floor and plays hard. She is a great secondary ball-handler which takes pressure off of Wahpeton's starting point guard. She is aggressive and fires-down on posts and ties them up for jump-balls. Offensively, she is tough going to her strong hand. She has a nice, soft touch with her floaters to her right side.

Mauch is someone I would love to have on my team. She was Wahpeton's fourth leading scorer and second leading rebounder. She plays the game the right way. She can defend multiple positions due to her impressive strength. Her effort defensively is really appreciated by her teammates. She is a good screener, setting tough picks for teammates to get open looks. When she gets the ball, she has no issues scoring with either hand.
