The 2021 class wasn’t privileged to much of a grassroots season between their Junior and Senior years, therefore many of them haven’t received as much college attention as prospects in years past. I wanted to take the time to point out the remaining uncommitted prospects in the 2021 class position by position, while highlighting five from each position group at the bottom of each article. Below is a look at the 16 center prospects who, to the best of my knowledge, remain uncommitted as far as a college commitment goes.

47. [player_tooltip player_id="62554" first="Mariah" last="Dickerson"], 6-0 C, Evansville Mater Dei H.S.
Mariah has had a solid career, interrupted at times by injuries. She is a strong kid, very physical inside, and she plays with a nice motor. She can box out to rebound, and she will pursue rebounds outside of her area as well. But what I like most about Mariah's game, is her ability to play facing the basket in the mid-post. She has a soft touch from about 15 to 17-feet, and she's a very good free throw shooter. Defensively, she could definitely stand to get a little more lateral and defend the perimeter a bit better, especially in ball-screen situations, but she does work hard, and I think once she is on a consistent college regimen, it will help her become more explosive at both ends of the floor.
67. [player_tooltip player_id="62559" first="Lauren" last="Carie"], 6-2 C, Vincennes Rivet H.S.
Lauren is very intriguing, and I think she has flown a bit under the radar in terms of recruiting, partly because of her region of the state. She has a very long, wiry strong, tall frame. She runs the floor well North/South, and she moves fluidly in most other directions. She has some touch in the 12 to 15-foot range, but she can also play a little around the block and score over shorter defenders. Defensively, she has shown the ability to affect/block shots at times. She will pursue rebounds, but I would like to see her get a little meaner and more physical, demand the ball a bit more offensively, and push people around for rebounds. I think she is a nice, skillful post who could be an even better college player.
106. [player_tooltip player_id="130345" first="Chloee" last="Thomas"], 6-1 C, Frankton H.S.
Chloee is another prospect who is vastly underappreciated. She is a multisport kid, so she doesn't make any appearances on the grassroots circuit, but during the high school seasons she has shown flashes of great potential. She is strong and physical, she plays with a really nice motor, and she is a better athlete than she might look. She even has some bounce to her. I think she does a really nice job of sitting down and establishing herself on the block, offensively and defensively. She doesn't give up ground, she has solid hands and catches just about everything thrown her way, and she has built a nice arsenal of moves to score with. I think a lot of the better D2s and NAIAs in the Midwest would like Chloee.
133. [player_tooltip player_id="130364" first="Francisca" last="Galicia"], 6-4 C, South Bend Washington H.S.
I saw film of Francisca early in the season, but after watching her in the Semi-State and again in the State Finals, this kid is starting to "get it" and could be a monster at the next level with continued coaching. She is big, strong, and powerful. She has some length, plus she plays with a great motor for a prospect of her size. She has soft hands, she keeps the ball high, and she's starting to finish at many different angles now. For the time being, Francisca will be recruited as more of a defender/rebounder type, but I think she has the potential to develop into a double-double producer by her Junior year of college...what impressive development for someone who's only played two years of organized basketball.
138. [player_tooltip player_id="62571" first="Jasmine" last="Walker"], 6-0 C, Clarksville H.S.
Jasmine might be the sleeper of sleepers in this class. She was a double-double kid back as a Freshman, on her way to being one of the better 'bigs' in this 2021 class. But an injury kept her sideline throughout her Sophomore season. Last year she returned and posted nice numbers again, but this season, she has been a force at times like she projected when she was a younger prospect. She has a reasonably strong frame, some bounce, and great length. She is a rim-protector, plus she has a nose for the ball and rebounds just about everything. Her scoring is limited mostly to "scraps" baskets inside the paint, so she will need to continue developing her post moves and mid-post jumper.
