We finally reach the end of rankings updates with the Senior class. Here’s a look at the final Class of 2021 Rankings!
[player_tooltip player_id="31846" first="Brooklynn" last="Miles"], Franklin County - Miles has been the top ranked player in this class since we launched the site and she goes wire to wire as our number one. The best guard in the class and likely Miss Basketball, Brooklynn heads to Tennessee for college basketball and should see time in the SEC right away thanks to her ability to beat defenders off the dribble and lock up opposing guards on defense.
[player_tooltip player_id="31853" first="Macey" last="Blevins"], Wayne County - The Western Kentucky signee is a complete player who stuffs the stat sheet every single game. Macey affects the game in a lot of ways and that bodes well for her chances of seeing the court early in Bowling Green next season. Blevins is also among the best shooters in the Senior class.
[player_tooltip player_id="31850" first="Harley" last="Paynter"], Boyd County - A top contender for Miss Basketball, Paynter has had a fantastic career for Boyd and should be able to make an impact at Tennessee Tech as a freshman. Harley is a big time scorer who can catch and shoot or put the ball on the floor and attack.
[player_tooltip player_id="31848" first="Mya" last="Meredith"], Scott - Back from an ACL tear, Mya started to look like her old self by the end of her Senior season. Meredith will join Blevins on the hill at WKU and she could be a steal for the program as she was starting to get high major looks before her injury.
[player_tooltip player_id="88416" first="Tiarra" last="East"], Butler - A player whose individual stats suffer thanks to being on a loaded team, East is a selfless player who can score, rebound and defend. She committed to Temple in the fall and should have opportunities to play right away and be a factor in the Atlantic 10.
[player_tooltip player_id="88418" first="Marie" last="Kiefer"], Bishop Brossart - Headed to Ball State, Marie has consistently improved over her high school career and become a more complete player the last couple of seasons. Kiefer is able to do damage around the rim but also added a solid three point shot in the last couple of years.
[player_tooltip player_id="88421" first="Brie" last="Crittendon"], Ryle - One of the first players in this class to commit to a college, Brie will suit up for Eastern Kentucky in the fall. Used to playing around a lot of talent, Crittendon can create her own offense or attack off the bounce and make plays for others.
[player_tooltip player_id="88415" first="Jacqueline" last="Jackson"], Greenwood - Back in the top 10 after an injury sidelined her for her Junior season, Jackson is an athletic wing prospect who can score and rebound and has the quickness to guard multiple positions. She's the best unsigned Senior in the state and should land safely at the scholarship level on signing day.
[player_tooltip player_id="88417" first="Elise" last="Ellison-Coons"], Dunbar - Elise was one of the most valuable players in Central Kentucky the last few years as she led Dunbar in nearly every statistical category and several nights had to put the team on her back. Ellison-Coons. She has signed with Keiser University to continue her playing career.
[player_tooltip player_id="36208" first="Ella" last="Thompson"], Bethlehem - The best prospect on the back to back Class A state champs, Ella is the total package as a player. She can score, rebound and defend and has the Banshees in contention for a state title in her final season.
