2023 6’1 small forward Imbie Jones Imbie Jones 6'2" | SF Garfield | 2023 State WA of Garfield High School is a really versatile threat on the wing with her handle, shooting, length and mobility. As a freshman at Eastside Catholic, she played the role of more of a post on a team loaded at guard position, but her full skill set will be on display this Spring and Summer in travel basketball. She is a highly recruited prospect in the 2023 class with several high majors involved.
The title of the state’s top shooter may belong to 2023 6’1 small forward Jenna Villa Jenna Villa 6'1" | SF Arlington | 2023 State WA of Arlington High School. Her clip is the real deal and her ability to space the floor for her teammates right when she steps on the floor makes her an impact player in any game she plays in. Villa’s basketball IQ is high and she plays hard each possession.
Speaking of shooters, 2023 6’0 small forward Amelie Sitterud Amelie Sitterud 6'0" | SG Tahoma | 2023 State WA of Lake Washington High School can knock it down with some of the best of them. The Division 1 recruit has a consistent release and follow through. Sitterud is a low mistake player, because she doesn’t try to do things outside of her skill set and stays within herself so well. A tall shooter who doesn’t turn it over much makes her very recruitable.
Another wing out of Lake Washington High School is 6’0 Sydney Hani Sydney Hani 6'1" | SF Lake Washington | 2023 State WA . She has an ideal Division 1 frame and can score some on the inside and outside. Hani has tools to work with and should continue to progress over the course of the next few years.
Yet another prospect that is right on track to play at the Division 1 level, already holding a couple of offers, is Lakeside High School’s Claire O’Connor Claire O’Connor 6'1" | SF Lakeside | 2023 State WA . The 6’1 small forward has an exceptionally high arching shot and knocks down the three point shot with confidence. She has good mobility on the perimeter and all the tools required to help a college program.
