Miss Basketball Update

With the finalists being announced tomorrow, I figured I would take my best shot at the Miss Basketball award as it stands right now. This is only my opinion. Feel free to disagree in the comments. The Favorite: [player_tooltip player_id="31846" first="Brooklynn" last="Miles"], Franklin County - But it’s close! Miles has had the name recognition, stats and accolades for years and been on the path to Miss Basketball for a while now. By committing to Tennessee, she’s also the most high profile recruit in the class. Having said all of that, Franklin County hasn’t proven worthy of their top ranked status they had coming into the season. Brooklynn is the favorite but I think it’s a more narrow margin than most would think this time last year. The Second Favorite: [player_tooltip player_id="31850" first="Harley" last="Paynter"], Boyd County - Harley is a talented player with an impressive career so far and a bright future. Her candidacy was likely helped late last month when she helped Boyd knock off previously undefeated Anderson County.
