Built with versatility and scoring in mind, these girls are ready to do work as they hit the court this spring. Coach McLeod has a ton of weapons that will surely garnish the attention of collegiate coaches. This special group of talented players will be a force to be reckoned with.
Here are some notable standouts who will be donning the Stars logo on their chest this upcoming season.
Brianna Burgess ( So., Creek Wood) – Big-time player with big-time accolades. District Tourney MVP, All-District, All-Region, and look for her to continue to add to that list. Bri is a phenomenal scorer who is lights out from all 3 levels. The can-do prospect from Creek Wood is a special talent with the ball in her hands. Look for her to be a shining star this upcoming season, looking to catch the eye of multiple recruiters.
Elizabeth Flynn (So., Ravenwood)- This talented guard is very versatile. She can do it all for her squad and it showed this past HS season with her school team. From rebounding to defending, she prides herself on the defensive side of the ball. Don’t let her defensive tenacity fool you as she can score the ball offensively as well. She has a nice mid-range game and can get to the rim as well.
AC Milam (So., Dickson Co.)- AC can stroke it from deep beyond the arc. She knows how to put the ball in the hoop as she led Dickson County in scoring this past season. She is a bucket filler who has a nice mid-range game that complements her ability to shoot it from deep.
Laura Nichols (So., Creek Wood)– Smooth lefty who can stroke it from deep. Laura is a talented young lady who is a lights-out shooter. Her offensive ability isn’t just beyond the arc, as she can get to the rim with a quick first step. Look for her to be the glue girl for this talented Stars team.
