Class of 2021- Stock Risers (Part 5)

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91078" first="Aja" last="Austin"]: PF/C, 6’1, Westerville South- </strong> Aja, who received D1, 2nd team All-State honors, has such a promising future with the University of Delaware Blue Hens! Austin is difficult to stop, can bully her defender to where she wants to go, knows how to dominate the inside, aggressive in grabbing rebounds, and has a pretty shooting touch not only in the paint, but mid-range and 3's. She's a consistent double double, and had one of the highest scoring averages in Ohio, at 21.9 ppg. Tough player! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91104" first="Morgan" last="Bentley"]: SF/SG/C/PF/PG, 5’10, Vinton County-</strong> Morgan is such a talented athlete- who truly can play anywhere on the court. The future University of Rio Grande player is going to make a huge impact at the next level. Her size and strength, ability to nail outside shots, handle the rock, and post up on the block are so strong. She is such a versatile player- and when she penetrates to the basket- she's very difficult to stop! She made 1st Team All Ohio for D2, and averaged 17 ppg. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32567" first="Emma" last="Shumate"]: G, 6’1, Newark-</strong> Shumate, who earned D1,1st Team All-State honors, is such a smooth, and confident player.  Emma can score in bunches, real quick. There's not a shot on the court that she can't make, and without a doubt one of the best 3 point shooters in the state.  Defensively, her length and ability to quickly move and jump makes her very tough to score against. Her blocking performance in the state finals was beautiful to watch! The sky is the limit for Shumate! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91131" first="Taylor" last="Strock"]: G, 5’9, Napoleon- </strong> What a player! The all-time leading scorer for Napoleon, who was a major contributor to Napoleon winning the state title, was voted Division II state player of the year.  She moves so well without the ball, always in the right place, at the right time. Solid outside shooter, handles the ball well.  And defensively, she's a beast! Love how she is aggressive- and strong deny and on ball defender. She will do great things for the Cedarville University team! (<em>Featured Photo)</em> <strong>Tory Hendershot: SG, 5’6, Shadyside- </strong>This young lady can flat out play! Tory earned D4 First Team All-Ohio honors this season- and when you watch her play, its very easy to see why she's one of the best in the state! Love her quickness, ability to pick passes and score with ease, and so fun to watch on transition. Makes great decisions, finds her teammates, solid shooter, and has been a spark for Shadyside throughout her career.
