Helen Chen | Team Wisconsin
Chen made an impression all weekend long. She was consistent and will definitely have a rising stock going into the next event. She barely needs any room to knock her shot down. Great footwork, timing and stroke to her shot, Chen can be a spark plug from the perimeter. Nine of her 16 points on Saturday against Wisconsin Shooters came from behind the arc.
Ashlyn Yow Ashlyn Yow 5'6" | PG Waukesha West | 2022 State WI | Wisconsin Shooters
Yow does a little bit of everything for her squad. She is an underrated shooter as she displays a high level of playmaking and facilitating on the floor. She can shoot on the go and is quick to set up her shot within the offense. In Saturday’s game against Team Wisconsin, Yow knocked down three 3-pointers for WI Shooters.
Clare Diener Clare Diener 5'10" | SG Cedarburg | 2022 State WI | Chapman Basketball Academy
Said it before and will say it again, Diener can get a bucket. She was a knockdown from behind the arc this weekend. In a victory Saturday, Diener was on fire with six 3-pointers for her team. Her footwork and ability to move without the ball help her to find herself open in the right spot at the right times.
Braelyn Torres Braelyn Torres 5'7" | CG Kettle Moraine | 2023 State WI | Wisconsin Impact
Torres is a patient and poised shooter who understands her role on this Wisconsin Impact team. Extremely quick and long- Torres has the ability to shooter over defenders on the perimeter. She did well in transition play and often attempted the outside shot before attacking the rim on the fast break. Torres scored two huge 3-point baskets against Wisconsin Shooters.
Mallory Lindsey Mallory Lindsey 5'5" | SG Mineral Point | 2022 State WI | Let It Rain
Lindsey has a high ceiling as she displays a high level of athleticism and basketball IQ on the floor. Playmaking and leading the charge for Let It Rain, Lindsey switched between the point guard and off the ball throughout the entire tournament. When she was off the ball, she was able to find her shooting pockets well and create off the dribble. In a game Saturday against Wisconsin Legends, Lindsey made four 3-point baskets.
Lexi Kerstein Lexi Kerstein 5'7" | PG Deerfield | 2023 State IL | Wolverinas
Kersteien is a lethal catch-and-shoot threat. She was consistent and able to knock down multiple big time shots for her team each time she stepped onto the court. She runs off pick and shuffles well on the perimeter and she always has her hands ready for the ball. She has great versatility as well which helps her to create good shooting space.
