I write over and over about #THROWBACK stuff that has somehow all but disappeared so when I see "the simple things" that can help win games, I really get off to that so always remember when you do things instinctively when you react a certain way in various situations naturally and when you just go all out, those are huge
London Webb-5’9 SF (Arkansas Angels 2024)
Webb definitely left a lasting impression and watching her #BATTLE for rebounds was something because she goes after everything and that mindset also enabled her to grab rebounds against players standing over "the magic number" which is 6'0
Olyvia Brooks-5’10 SF (BCS Thunder-King)
Brooks was doing #THROWBACK stuff in middle school which got her on her first Tip Sheet yet along with doing things from yesteryear, I also look for progression, and seeing her finish after contact as well as her on-ball defense has me smiling at what's coming
[player_tooltip player_id="196766" first="Elle" last="Hatcher"]-6’0 (Gameball 2024)
Hatcher has some pretty impressive timing, so seeing her block, deflect and alter shots was nice, so was her playing the passing lane yet she can handle the ball and her interceptions led to her going coast to coast for layups numerous times
Doniya Hall-5’11 (Heroes 15U)
Hall gave me a great first look at Border War 2021 because she showed me something across the borders which divided Texas from several states, she was ready for WAR. She goes after the ball on both ends of the court off the rim and she showed she could finish
Vernell Atamah- 5’10 (Heroes DJ)
Atamah made my Tip Sheet last season with another team, not sure if the numbers were correct which is why I plead for non-erroneous rosters yet I have to say that watching her #BATTLE in the paint was definitely refreshing as she also finished with players hanging on her
Arianna Roberson-6’4 (Players First 17U)
Roberson stands 76 inches tall, her wingspan is something else yet her UPSIDE is definitely why she's here because she was doing some of those simple things I talked about in the opening paragraph like play the passing lane and follow the ball off the rim
[player_tooltip player_id="158869" first="Vivian" last="Iwuchukwu"]-6’2 (Players First 17U)
Iwuchukwu was labeled #BEAST after seeing her at a camp I covered last season and her DESIRE on both ends simply stood out immediately. She will not be outworked on the inside, this includes both ends, and watching her finish with either hand as well as rebounding on both ends has her more than a #D1Lock
Je’Sani Green-6’0 (Unity)
Green means GO as well other things like UPSIDE and what she's doing now, using her body in the paint and finishing with contact was nice, so was her rebounding on both ends of the court yet watching her step out and drop the 3 ball...
[player_tooltip player_id="265123" first="Jillyan" last="Sheldon"]-6’3 (Wheat State Nicholson 2024)
Sheldon has a college-ready body right now and she's showing college-ready finishes so factor in her size and class and envision what she will turn into. She rebounds on both ends of the floor, she runs the floor and she even made some nice passes
[player_tooltip player_id="231284" first="Brooklyn" last="Gormley"]-6’1 (Wheat State Stewart 2024)
Gormley is long and athletic and created some issues on defense. She altered shots and showed some nice moves around the basket, did a good job at not only finishing but finishing after contact and she rebounded on both ends of the court
