The combination will make anyone tough to beat. The following prospects have both and are only getting better. You can view part one by clicking here.
Let’s look into this list…part two.
Khyala Ngodu Khyala Ngodu 6'2" | PF Dillard | 2023 State FL – Dillard
Good things will happen when Ngodu gets a touch in the paint. The 6-foot-2 power forward/center has good positioning around the low block and can finish with either hand. Ngodu averaged a double-double with 12.1 points and 12.2 rebounds per game as a freshman for the Panthers. Moreover, she shot an effective 67 percent from the field. She is very good with her back to the basket and wastes little time to execute. Therefore, defenses have a tough time getting set and containing her. Ngodu is also a patient defender that can block shots and cause turnovers.
Rhema Collins Rhema Collins 6'2" | SF Webb(TN) | 2023 TN – Schoolhouse Prep
Collins is a versatile prospect that is still developing for the Wolfpack. The 6-foot-2 forward averaged 14 points and 5.1 rebounds last season for Schoolhouse Prep. Collins runs the floor like a wing and finishes in transition. Therefore, she can take advantage of her opponents when they are disorganized in motion. Collins’ overall athleticism is a strong suit on both ends of the floor. She is still working on her skill in the post, but has a ton of upside.
Aicha Keita Aicha Keita 6'1" | SF Miami Country Day | 2023 State FL – Miami Country Day
Keita is a strong perimeter player that can create her own shot using her frame. The 6-foot forward can put the ball on the floor and and befuddle her defender before finishing at the rim. Keita is still learning how to play in the post and execute. Luckily, she has plenty of time to learn and develop under one of the best basketball systems in the state.
Ka’Zahria Johnson Ka’Zahria Johnson 6'2" | C St. Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State FL – Miami Norland
2024 Ka’Zahria Johnson Ka’Zahria Johnson 6'2" | C St. Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State FL enjoyed a productive freshman season for Miami Norland. The 6-foot-2 power forward averaged 8.3 points and 9.6 rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent from the floor. Moreover, Johnson recorded three double-doubles and had seven games where she grabbed ten or more boards. She is already a difference maker with her length and athleticism on the floor. In one outing against Miami Central, Johnson had 10 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. Like many frontcourt prospects, she can work on becoming a better free-throw shooter. Johnson will also get stronger as she develops. However, I am already impressed with her shooting efficiency and touch in the paint. Therefore, Johnson’s potential is very high.
