Zhykera Brown Zhykera Brown 5'9" | CG Legacy Early College | 2025 State SC – Legacy Early College (pictured on front)
Brown is no stranger to being on a list of the Top 2025 performers that Prep Girls Hoops attends. Brown looks to overpower players at times going to the basket. Brown logs a lot of minutes already at a young age for the Lady Lions. Brown was consistent today with her three point shooting and effectiveness around the ball.
Imani Sterling Imani Sterling 5'9" | PF Rock Hill | 2025 State SC – Rock Hill HS
Imani really went to work posting up down in the paint. Sterling worked for position and played the game very rugged at times. Sterling was aggressive on both ends of the floor carving out space and boxing out.
Alana Hankerson Alana Hankerson 5'6" | PG 1 of 1 Prep | 2025 State NC – Rock Hill HS
Alana is just one of three sisters on this Lady Bearcats roster. Alana was able to convert on some three pointers and some cheapies in transition. Alana was shot ready to receive the ball in the pocket and knockdown the open look when given the opportunity.
Alyssa Hankerson Alyssa Hankerson 5'6" | SG Charlotte Country Day (1 of 1 Prep) | 2025 State NC – Rock Hill HS
Alyssa really has a great understanding of the game and never looked rattled on the floor today. Hankerson and her twin sister Alana will bring opponents nightmares in the years to come. Alyssa looked to be the table setter here today with her crisp passing skills.
Brooke Mitchell Brooke Mitchell 5'5" | PG Hartsville | 2025 State SC – Hartsville HS
Mitchell is a new name for Head Coach Justin Johnson to be excited about moving forward. Mitchell was able to knockdown some perimeter jumpers today along with getting the ball to the cup. Mitchell could really look to contest for some good minutes this season for the Lady Red Foxes.
Destinee Vereen Destinee Vereen 5'7" | PF North Myrtle Beach | 2025 SC – North Myrtle Beach HS
Vereen helped the Lady Chiefs get to the Class 4A State Championship Game last year. Vereen does her best work down in the paint when she can play the game on contact. Vereen does a good job of rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor.
Madison McLamore Madison McLamore 5'6" | CG Ashley Ridge | 2025 State SC – South Florence HS
McLamore saw a bit of action on the varsity level last season for the Lady Bruins. McLamore a guard showed a nice cross-over ove to the cup. McLamore will be a building block for the Lady Bruins moving forward.
Lyric Green Lyric Green 6'0" | C Dodge County | 2025 State GA – Dodge County HS (Eastman, GA)
Green is very NEW to the game she told Prep Girls Hoops. Green (2025) plays down in the post for the Georgia based Dodge County HS squad. Green 6’0 has great footwork and really moves well around the floor. Lyric attended Dodge County Middle School last year. Green has great instincts and the ability to finish on contact. Green told Prep Girls Hoops that she runs with the Eastman Heat on the Grassroots Circuit. This will be a player to watch down the road in the State of Georgia.
Za’Nyri Allen Za’Nyri Allen 5'7" | SF Laurens | 2026 State SC (2026) – Legacy Early College
Allen was a new name today for the Prep Girls Hoops staff. Allen will be a 8th grader this coming year. Allen didn’t back down from anyone on the floor and played the game very poised. Allen was able to finish down in the paint and grab some rebounds in her playing time on the day.
Maliyah Birch Maliyah Birch 5'3" | PG Northwood Academy | 2027 State SC (2027) – Northwood Academy (Summerville)
Birch looks to be playing varsity basketball this season for the Lady Chargers as a 7th grader. Birch was able to connect on some open jumpers along with playing the game at a good demeanor at times for her young age.
