Players on the Rise part 4

Here is part 4 of looking at players who’s games are on the rise.

Kayla Goldrick Kayla Goldrick 5'8" | SG Attleboro | 2024 State NewE , Attleboro, O-Zone, Class 2024, HT’5’8, Position SG

Kayla had a strong freshman season for Attleboro, and is having a big spring season for the O-Zone AAU team. Kayla is a very long and athletic guard, who is good in the open floor. Kayla can impact the game in many ways. Her energy she brings always lifts her teammates up. Kayla can finish at the rim and shoot. Kayla is only a freshman and I think will keep raising her stock.

Kara Santos Kara Santos 6'0" | PF Mansfield | 2024 State NewE , O-zone, class of 2024, HT 6’0, position PF 

Kara is a good post presence, and is aggressive. For kara’s size she moves well. Kara is good also in transition. It is always nice to have a big who is good out on the run.  Kara is fundamental down low. Kara has good touch, good passing skills from the post, and solid footwork. On defense Kara is a rim and paint protector.

Olivia Bruke, Boston Latin, ASA, HT 5’10, position F/C, class Senior

Olivia is a forward who moves well, rebounds well, and finishes well. Olivia helped lead her Boston Latin team to a DCL small championship this past winter. Olivia is very good on the pick and roll. She scores well on the pick and roll, and finds the open player off the pick and roll. Olivia is a good on defense at knowing when to bring the help side defense.

Audrey Mackie Audrey Mackie 5'9" | SG Oceanside | 2023 State NewE , Ocean Side ME, HT 5’8, class sophomore, position PG

A true point guard, who lead Maine in scoring this past season, averaging 23 points per game.  Audrey is a very good scorer, who scores very effectively, and shoots at a high percentage. Audrey is a point guard, who does not turn the ball over a lot. Audrey is only a sophomore and I can’t wait to see what she does the next 2 years.

Abbie Morin, Belmont, Class Senior, HT 5’6, Position Guard.

Abbie is a very crafty and skilled Guard. Abbie has a very nice shot, that is high arcing and really good for getting over bigger defenders. Abbie is a really good shooter, and has good handles. Abbie really cuts hard, and moves well without the ball. Every time Abbie cuts she is looking for the ball back. Abbie sees the floor well and finds her open teammates. Abbie is a good pressure defender an forces a lot of turnovers that lead to fast breaks. Abbie has the game to play at the next level.
