The AAU season is here and the offers and visits are rolling in. We’re going to split up this most recent update into two parts, starting with part one below.
Colleen Phiri Colleen Phiri 5'11" | PF Tilton | 2025 State New E – Tilton School (2025) offered by Brown, Northeastern
it’s been a busy week for Tilton School junior Colleen Phiri Colleen Phiri 5'11" | PF Tilton | 2025 State New E , who received a pair of Division I offers from two local schools in Brown and Northeastern.
Phiri is quite the popular name circulating through the college sphere as the two-time NEPSAC all-star is now a three-time Gatorade Player of the Year in New Hampshire. It’s incredible the success she’s had since her freshman year and only seems to be getting more skilled, more experienced and more explosive over time. Must-watch basketball when she’s on the floor.
Emma Sollene – St. Luke’s (2025) offered by Chicago State
The Division I offers are rolling in and St. Luke’s junior Emma Sollene was the recipient of one, having announced on Tuesday an offer from Chicago State. She’s been seemingly built up for the big stage, a 20-point scorer when she’s at her best and the next in line of a basketball family. Her sister, Ava, has been balling out for Quinnipiac as a freshman, so it’s now Emma’s turn to showcase her talent and wow is she a knock-down scorer from the perimeter.
Maddison Krug Maddison Krug 6'4" | PF St. Andrew’s | 2025 State New E – St. Andrew’s School (2025) offered by La Salle
Another player, another Division I offer as it was announced on April 18 that Maddison Krug Maddison Krug 6'4" | PF St. Andrew’s | 2025 State New E received an offer from Atlantic 10 program La Salle.
She’s one of a number of Bay State Jaguars prospects who have gotten noticed and gotten some love from college programs, and for good reason. Krug has provided stability down low for St. Andrew’s turning into a double-double machine, and she’s done a fantastic job at growing into her frame and utilizing it to dominate in the post on both sides of the ball.
Morgan Jenkins Morgan Jenkins 6'2" | PF Hotchkiss | 2025 State New E – Hotchkiss School (2025) offered by UPenn
Jenkins has been no stranger to college interest, with several visits and offers under her belt. She can now add another to the list as Ivy League program UPenn offered her on Tuesday.
You can’t teach size and you can’t teach wingspan. Jenkins has both traits working to her advantage and at the same time, she’s got a clean, fluid shooting motion in the midrange game. Another double-double machine that shot with efficiency and purpose, and a great defensive talent that really prioritized shutting down opponents during her high school season, neutralizing scoring opportunities near the basket.
Alannah Morantus Alannah Morantus 5'9" | CG Foxborough Charter | 2027 New E – Cushing Academy (2027) offered by Dartmouth
We begin this second recruiting update article with Cushing Academy freshman Alannah Morantus Alannah Morantus 5'9" | CG Foxborough Charter | 2027 New E , earning her third Division I offer on Tuesday from Ivy League program Dartmouth.
New England colleges and universities are taking notice of Morantus, with her three college offers all coming from the region. That includes ACC school Boston College. She has a lot of intangibles, a relatively unproven skillset with plenty of room to grow, and fantastic raw talent that needs to continue to be tapped into. Expect plenty more offers coming to the point guard upcoming.
Reagan Dowd Reagan Dowd SG Norwell | 2025 State New E – Norwell (2025) visits Babson College
Dowd has already received some college looks and on Monday, she took a visit to Division III program Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
We have yet to see Dowd announce any college offers, but those have to be coming up soon. With her offensive success from the three-point line to bodying her way to the basket down low, that aggressive nature is going to get plenty of interest. Strong frame with the ability to absorb contact going to the basket and a quick release that’s allowed her to shoot even in well-guarded situations.
Kate Allard Kate Allard 6'2" | PF Bedford | 2025 State New E – Bedford (2025) offered by UPenn
It’s been interesting to see the dispersion of college offers in this recent pool of players as three received offers from Ivy League schools. Allard is part of that list, having been offered by UPenn.
She’s now the second prospect from the region in the last week to have gotten an offer from the Quakers, and she’s more than deserving of it as well. For a 6-2 guard, Allard has great mobility and agility on the court. Shifty player, but someone who doesn’t really need to do much to score, though when she charges the basket, look out. Also, height is to her advantage as a shooter, especially from the perimeter.
Kaelyn Carroll Kaelyn Carroll 6'2" | SF Tabor Academy | 2025 State New E – Tabor Academy (2025) offered by Georgetown, Indiana & Virginia Tech
Add two more offers to the ever-growing list for Tabor Academy junior Kaelyn Carroll Kaelyn Carroll 6'2" | SF Tabor Academy | 2025 State New E as both Georgetown and Indiana officially offered her on Tuesday, and Virginia Tech re-offered her.
Of those three, that’s two powers in college basketball and three offers from Power Six schools. When you’re 6-3 and can shoot like Carroll does, you’re going to be getting colleges chomping at the bit to add you to their team. Her touch with the ball is impeccable, her shot pure and effortless. Great catch-and-shoot player, great at creating space to shoot and a fantastic ball-handler as well. Also, great speed in tracking down opponents defensively and she moves well both on-ball and off-ball.
